Backlight beauty

Just put up this mirror and attached it to our wall switched hardwire. The mirror comes with a plug installed, so to hardwire it, I had to cut off the plug and strip the wires very carefully. The power cord is about 3 foot long and power box is towards lower left when hung portrait. This mirror has memory function, so I can turn off by switch and turn back on via switch and it saves last used setting. Adjust the settings on the face of the mirror via touch. Has 3 light shades (warm, medium, cool) and stepless dimming functions. The mirror is framed in a black satin aluminum thin frame. This was BY FAR the easiest hanging hardware I have used on a lighted mirror. You draw a straight line with a level, put the hooks on the line, then attach hooks to drywall using included drywall anchors. You can slide the mirror left to right on the hooks a few inches to perfectly center over the vanity. So nice! We liked this mirror so much we ordered a second one for the guest bathroom. You can see the blue lighted portion is the defogger. When defogger is off, it lights up blue (same with light) This particular mirror backlights onto the wall, so will look very nice on tile or wood walls, etc. This mirror does NOT shine light forward onto the user, for that reason, it is not as bright for shaving, make up, etc. We have a ceiling light in this bathroom, so we did not need this as our only light. If this is the only light source in your bathroom, it might not be bright enough to illuminate for getting ready in the morning. As an accent light and night light (on lowest setting) it was exactly what we were looking for. We leave the light portion on almost 24/7 in a windowless bathroom and use the defogger only when showering. I hope this review was helpful to your shopping.

This mirror changes the whole look of our bathroom? Easy to install and hang. Love all the features. Great purchase!
