SUCTION IS FINICKY, BUT STILL LOVE THIS

Maybe something is wrong with me, because I have a really hard time getting the suction on this mat to work, and most other people with reviews didn't mention having a problem. The suction works better if the bottom of the mat is wet, or the surface you're sticking it to is wet, but that can be kind of inconvenient. I also found it helps if you push down on the raised edges, and then gently pull it up from the middle piece - it kind of 'sets' the suction. However, all that being said, even without the suction I really like this plate. I've already ordered another. Because this is silicone, it is very grippy and doesn't slide around like normal plates would - it's also heavier and bigger than most plates, so it doesn't move around or get picked up and thrown as easily. This is dishwasher safe, but only for the top rack. It will end up taking a bit of space in your dishwasher, but you can always wash it by hand as well. This can also be boiled to sterilize it. Overall, really love this.

Great Silicone Plate

I love how big this is, can hold a big meal for my hungry toddler no problem. The suction is very finicky, sometimes it is great and sometimes I can’t get it to suction at all. Also since the edges of the suction aren’t hidden, it’s easy for my toddler to pick up even if it is suctioned on, so this might not be the best choice for a serious plate thrower. Love just throwing it in the dishwasher, cleans up perfectly every time!

Very durable

Heavier and more durable than other plates. I'm not sure about the suctioning part, i think its more the silicone having a good grip and not sliding all over the table, i couldn't get it to suction. It is heavier and bigger than other toddler plates so it can be a little more challenging for your toddler to pick it up and throw it. This plate is really easy to clean, dishwasher, and microwave safe!

easy to scoop up food, easy to clean, no suction

It is a very cute plate with nice portion sizes for a toddler. It doesn't slide around at all, but the suction doesn't work on his table. There should be suction, but the plate is too flat. The plate is a great addition to meal-time. It washes easily and the tall sides keep most food in the plate. It also makes it easier to push food against the edge and scoop it up with a spoon. I like vertical over curved, and this has it.

good suction

Ordered this plate because it is made from a reputable company. it is heavy duty, durable and has good suction. It doesn't fit the highchair when I have the extra cover on to help with cleaning due to the cup holder and sections of the design 9picture attached), but when I take the protectant cover off the highchair it works just fine. The only complaint I have is that even though the suction works well when trying to pull off, the plate still can be slid side to side.

Takes Up A Lot of Space in Dishwasher

We trust Nuby items as we have found that they are always attractive, durable and safe products. This suction plate is no different. My Wife thinks this is a gorgeous product. Our two issues with the item are that it does not fit our high chair (the Stokke) and it takes up a lot of space in the dishwasher (top shelf) for cleaning.

Liked it so much, I bought more!

These are solid options for toddler/baby plates. In my opinion, none of these really suction well, so I can’t blame it for coming up easily. It is easily washable and also dishwasher safe. The color is bright and the partitions are nice for separating out different food types / dipping sauce. I prefer these silicone trays since they aren’t breakable if dropped from a high chair.
