Wanted to love it

Sadly it didn’t work out for us. I wanted to keep it and love it but the heat output just wasn’t enough to keep a small room. It was beautiful in the room but wasn’t practical.

There is NO control for the temperature and that is what I consider adjustable.

The description says the heat is adjustable but there is no thermostat. You need to clearly state this. I purchased a different unit from Menards at a lower price and it, although smaller, has a thermostat which cycles the heater maintaining constant temperature. You need to let customers know what they are getting as near as exact as possible. Other than this, that I consider very important, the fireplace is fine. Adjustable should be controllable as well.... Thus the 3 star overall rating and I would not purchase again or recommend purchase of this unit.

I like everything about it the only feature that I’m not interested in is the back light.

Lookalike a real fireplace.

This fireplace/heater is an excellent addition to any room, it creates a warm and wonderful atmosphere. It quickly heats my entire apartment in just a few mins. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting the feeling of a real fireplace in any home whether an apartment or home. You can't go wrong, make sure you have the right place to hand it. There should not be anything directly above it due to the heat outtake being on the top. You don't want to dry out your oil paintings or any other decorative art object. .

For the money you can’t beat it.

I built an actual frame for this to go into but the only thing is it can’t be flush mounted because can’t cover the top heat vents.

Great fireplace that sets the mood perfectly!

I got this product to compliment my living room, not so much for the heat. I live in Florida, so I don’t need the heat too often, but I did use it once and it took quite a bit of time for me to feel any warmth from it. But that could be because of the way I set mine up. I saw reviews indicating it had to be mounted. I actually have mine sitting on its own. I propped the back slightly with a thick piece of plastic and it sits nice and flush.
