Great filters

I hate nominal sizes!! Feel like I'm in Goldilocks....

So I just got a new heat pump installed and when it comes to the indoor unit, I inquired with the installer, what size filter do I need. He pulled up the manual and right there it says 16x20x1 "Nominal" size. However after purchasing said size filter, it dropped right into the bottom of the unit, way too small on the sides. After messaging the installer, he asked that I measured the washable filter that came with the unit, 17.4 x 19.5 x .75, so he said oh, buy an 18 x 20 x 1 filter, of which I did (different brand than Nordic) and found that filter was WAY too big. Out of frustration, I started to do some google searching and when I went back to the manual, even though the nominal size listed was indeed 16x20x1, the included mm size was roughly what the washable filter was, so I started to look for 18x20x1 filters with an actual size of nothing wider than 17.5 nor shorter than 17.2, LUCKILY Nordic listed their actual size in the listing and FINALLY it was just right. I am used to buying Merv 11's, so I'm not too sure of the quality difference between Merv 11 and Merv 10.

Works as expected

I can’t measure air quality in my apartment so I can’t scientifically say these work great. But they came as expected, are easy to install, and appear to work great. Not much to say, they’re air filters.

Missing Major Feature of Nordic Pure 18x20x1 MERV 10 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters 2 Pack

I ordered a two-pack. However, the package that arrived only contained 'one' filter within it. The manufacturer's product to me, a two-pack, actually consisted of only a single filter. The filters themselves are great. I've used them for a while and am happy. However, whatever the MANUFACTURER uses to count and pack their filters in needs help. There was a return available and that's great. However, because of unusual circumstances, this double-priced single filter was installed, despite the cost, because it was gravely needed. These filters are very good indeed. But a manufacturer even with this great product needs to make sure whatever packaging they use to get the filters to the customer will contain the number of filters shown in their information. Unfortunately, this review is forced to be somewhat vague due to Amazon's review requirements. In this case, the review makes the manufacturer appear worse than I believe they are. Amazon requires me to only review exactly what I KNOW of the PRODUCT PURCHASED and not what might have happened along the way. This product is a TWO-PACK product. (Amazon Reviews People, please note this!) The main FEATURE of a two-pack product is that it contains TWO products. That feature for this product, in my case, was absent. This review is wholly concerned with this company, and the two-pack product listed above. This revised review is to meet Amazon Reviews requirements as Amazon Review has made known to me. Reference R2TFWIDCCT8LCU is being met. The shipping box was slightly worn but not damaged. From all outward indications, this problem did not take place in shipping. I ordered a two-pack filter product. That undamaged shipping package only contained one filter. As per Amazon's review requirements, I make no assumptions on how this happened. Hopeful this meets the review requirement that I only review the product itself and not anything else. I make no assumptions on how this failure could have happened 'outside' the responsibility of the manufacturer. I blame the manufacturer directly as per Amazon Reviews requirements in order to be posted.

Great filters!

Initially received 3, not 6, but it got resolved

When I first ordered this, I got 3 filters instead of 6, but Amazon processed a replacement. I sent back the 3 I was sent and received the 6 I originally ordered. Aside from that, these appear to be thinner/less-dense material than my previous brand MERV 11 filters, so I would not trust these to be MERV 11, let alone MERV 12. They're also almost double the price you could get the same number of MERV 11 filters 2 years ago, which is a kick in the teeth especially after seeing the thin filter media on these.

Great filter for condo

I moved to a 600sqft condo and the slump lord kept the filter in there for years. This product offers great filtration at a very affordable price. The fits and finish are also very precise and without any problems.

Dense filter blocked heat efficiency

We had installed the new filter into our condo’s furnace for less than 2 months, the filter was very efficient at filtering out air pollutants but it blocked the air flow to the point that our furnace kept running but could not push out enough heat in the Ottawa January freeze. We thought the furnace was dying until we took out the filter and the heat came back to normal set point. If you buy this leave a good crack at the bottom to let sufficient air flow through or get one with a lower MERV rating.
