Strong latches
I purchased these to replace some flimsy lathes that broke continuously on my portable massage table. They are sturdy and can take the abuse of continuous opening and closing throughout the day..

Just what I needed
I refinished my father's 80+ year old Hoffman Ply wooden fishing tackle box. The hasp was gone, meaning so rusted that it would no longer function. Happy to have found this hasp for my project.

I mounted mine like the picture shows
Worked OK but there is no way of telling how to position the two pieces so that they close with a snap .I mounted mine like the picture shows, but they are too loose.

Size was miss leading
The description states the latch is 5.3 x 3" but the actual latch is only 3 x 1-1/2". It's not worth returning so I will look in local hardware store for the size I wanted.
