Easy use

Daughter loves these how they split and it is easy to ensure no mold grows.

Worth it

Haven’t made it to the tub yet, but my little loves them already, easy to take apart when needed.(but they do stay together well) love them, wish they had more animals.

Love the idea

Love the idea BUT execution is iffy. When you go to squeeze water out on the side as you do with most toys like this they break apart. You have to squeeze top to bottom. It’s going to be fun teaching my sons this haha.

Ok bath toy

I like that these come apart so you they can dry out and be cleaned, there are no unreachable places that get black and slimy. My kid also enjoyed mixing and matching the pieces, and they are cute. If you want them for their squirting ability you can probably find something better. Usually when you give them a slight squeeze to squirt water they come apart where the two pieces are joined together.

Cute toys but don’t work to squirt water and still grew mold

UPDATE: I have had these for a few months and stand by everything in the original review. I had to take away a star though because 3/4 of these grew mold. They were stored open and in a mesh bag after every use. These are really cute and I love the fact that they come apart to dry. I bought these because the toys we had got moldy and were squirting black ooze rather than water. When I got them the characters are really cute and go together really easily but at bath time I noticed they don’t stay together. Because they don’t actually screw together they just have a few ridges that you slide the bottom over when you squeeze them they come apart. It is fine for my daughter now as she is teething and doesn’t care except to chew on them but I am disappointed I can’t even get them to collect enough water to squirt. If she were older I think this would be way more of a problem, I get annoyed so I can’t imagine how a 2-3 year old would feel.

Excellent for no mold

I bought these after we ran into a mold issue with our previous bath toys. I didn’t want that to happen again so I needed something a little easier to clean. These are perfect! I will say that through play we have found that they squirt much better if you squeeze them from top & bottom rather than the sides. I also wish I could get more than just these four. But they are excellent!

Love this

Love this idea. They don’t squirt as well as the traditional squirt toys and I find they work best when you squeeze them up and down, not side to side so they require a bit more hand strength. But I refuse to buy the other kinds that you can’t clean so my kids still play with these regularly. And when they get tired of squirting them they just use them as mini cups.

Mold, Be Gone!

I love that these are easier to clean. I wish I had known about mold in bath toys before my son was born. It seems like all I got for my baby shower was bath toys, and I didn't think anything of it until I started to see those thin, black strands floating in the tub. Then I realized how much was actually in the toys. And, of course, this was when my son had already developed an attachment to them, so it broke both of our hearts to throw them out. The only complaint I have about these toys is that they are still squishy while you are also able to screw them together. This makes it a bit difficult, so I just push and turn at the same time, kind of like the opposite of opening a Tylenol bottle, and they go together better. Other than that, these are a great alternative to moldy bath toys. I just wish there were more styles, since the mold-free bath toys are mostly lame. These were the cutest ones I could find. I'm assuming this is a new style, and more brands will get on board with it soon and start making cuter toys.
