A little long

Was expecting it to be warmer

Super light weight, construction is real good. For the price I was expecting it to be warmer. Says it is 800 down but did not puff up like my Eddie Bauer down jacket. Maybe my expectations were to high. 5’10” and 230 lbs. definitely XXL was the right size for form fitting. If you want it more baggy for a bigger guy, it isn’t going to work.

Pack vest!

This vest is super lightweight. It packs into one of the pockets and is perfect to take along any adventure. It has the warmth you would expect from a puff vest. Fits to the contour of your body. The shoulders are cut in a little narrow compared to other vests; but I found that this allows you to stay dry when working so you won’t sweat as much as a true vest. I have a muscular build 6-2 235 pounds and the extra large was perfect. Definitely worth the purchase!

Sizes were off from the recommendations.

If i followed the recommended size (Large). It would have never zipped up shoot wouldhave never fit. I bought both a xl and xxl, hoping that they would fit similar to my Enlightened Equipment jackets. The EE xl jacket fits snug but still wearable vs the Mountain Hardware was very tight in the chest. If I sat down I would bet the zipper would blow open. For reference I am 5ft11in and weight 238lbs

Not durable, already exterior tears after mild usage, not all that warm

I have only worn the vest about ten times since purchased, and only outdoors around the house. The vest already has a hole on the front outside large enough that down keeps escaping and poking out. Compared to my Feathered Friends and Arcteryx vests it is also the least warm of the three and certainly the least durable. I do NOT recommend buying this down vest.
