There is no cartridge included. This thing does not appear to be the 1222 cartridge that should have been here.

Product is not from moen

This valve is definitely not new and not directly from a moen retailer. The valve was disassembled in plastic bag with no installation and warranty manual and sold at a retail price.

Did not include the $50 "1222 Cartridge"

Firstly: This mixing valve is for PEX-A, aka expansion-pex. This is NOT for PEX-B, crimp-pex. Pex-A is superior, and often used by professionals. Pex-B is more common in big-box stores. Secondly: If you need the shut-off valves, then you want the 2328PF model. This is the same model without the valves. I prefer this model, because the lack of valves is a lack of leaking-points. Thirdly: The listing, and the Q&A (from manufacturer) claim it includes the 1222 Cartridge (even though the cartridge is not pictured). What is pictured is a white plastic valve only useful for pressure testing. You need to contact the manufacturer and ask them to send you one. It's a $50 part, and a little misleading to be claiming it is included when it seems clear that it isn't. -1 star for not including the cartridge and needing to contact them.
