Perfect starter crayon set for toddlers!

We just got this set today and I am already happy with my purchase. This set is perfect as a starter set for toddlers new to crayons. I like how they don't have paper on them because my daughter would have just spent a lot of time peeling them off. I also like how these come in a plastic case to keep them in as well. I have plans to expand her crayon set with the 16 crayon set later this year.

Even nicer than I expected!

They are so nice to use and the case is very nice. Great portable activity for kids. Obviously had much thought in the design.

Good for adults with poor grip

Bought this for my elderly mom who lost her grip from dementia. Easy to hold, easy to put back into the container and they won’t roll off the table.

Great for kids

I love these crayons for my grandkids. They don’t roll around when they are being used in the table. They are portable. They are sturdy and don’t have paper on them like regular crayons. Great buy.

The best toddler crayons

These things rock. They are durable and I love that they don’t roll all over the place. My 20month old is rough with them and they’re still all in one piece. I read other reviews about the colors being muted, but I think the colors are great! Would highly recommend!

Perfect for little hands!

These crayons are great. They don't get all over their hands when coloring, they're strong and don't break like other triangular crayons do. And the container they come is is awesome! Even when the little ones help you pick up the crayons just automatically fall in to place! My only complaint is that the colors are not very vivid. Little ones just learning to color don't press down very hard so the color can be pretty faint. And the red crayon is more like a light orange. Minor complaints. My grandson LOVES these.

Hard to use

These are a great idea - good size, durable case, variety of colors, functional shape. But you’ve gotta press REALLY hard to get it to write on paper. I guess they’ve gotta be really hard so they don't break easily, but my 18 month-old kid doesn’t get the pressing super hard thing so he doesn’t seem that into them. Also the color of the crayon isn’t exactly like the color it draws (for a few of them). Overall OK but not awesome item.

These crayons are….weird?

(Summary at bottom, if you don’t want to read the whole review) The good- I love the case because it’s easy for my toddler to place and remove the crayons himself. The triangle crayon shape is easy for little fingers and hands to hold and drawn with. The weird- these are the strangest ‘crayons’ I’ve ever colored with. They aren’t really crayons, but more like giant colored pencils. They don’t color smoothly like normal crayons, they have a dry feeling while coloring. It’s just odd because I was expecting crayons, but they really aren’t crayons at all. The other thing is some of the colors are not what they appear to be when on paper. It’s very strange because the colors are really completely different: The red ‘crayon’ actually draws a rust color on paper, no red in it at all - yet the crayon actually looks bright red. Orange is almost yellow on paper, it hardly looks orange. The navy blue and black are pretty much undistinguishable, until on paper. The red and orange are way off from how they appear on paper - way off. Meaning it could be (and likely will be) confusing for a toddler learning colors. Especially when they pick up a red or orange crayon and it draws a completely different color than it appears. To sum it up - I wouldn’t purchase these again based on the dry feeling when coloring, lack of color applied while coloring, and the odd color representation of what color they actually make on paper/how they appear.

Red looks like burnt orange

I like this kit. The case is nice, the crayons are easy to hold, some of the colours are a little faint as others said, but the biggest annoyance to me is that the red is not even remotely red. It is orange. More orange even than the orange is. This is my little guys first colouring set so for our purposes I still like the kit enough to keep but really with the red!? On the plus he seems to like them. They are really nice and pleasing to hold and use and he likes taking them out of the case and putting them away. Good for interesting him and introducing him to colouring.

Simply the best starter crayons

I've had these crayons for a couple of years now and they're still going strong. Couple did snap in half but that hasn't been too much of a problem. the colours are really vibrant even with minimal pressure so really great for little hands who are starting out. the case is robust too but small children can't open it on their own. a great little set for taking out and about too.

Perfect for toddlers

My daughter is almost 2 and was constantly breaking the crayons by accident when coloring. These crayons are perfect! They’re easy to hold and they don’t break. Also a great way to teach her her colors. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic crayons - worth every penny

My daughter had these crayons since she was just over one year old. I strongly recommend them. The triangular shape is easy to hold, and means the crayons do not constantly roll on to the floor! The box is sturdy, and protects the crayons well (ie it's great for storing the crayons and is more than just packaging). Finally, and most importantly, the colours are bright on the page. Love them!
