Great Brace!

Really stabilizes your ankle so you can move but can’t turn it over. Gives you confidence to play your sport.

Ankle brace saved me playing basketball

Let me start with the fact that I have bad ankles. First sever sprain when I was a freshman in high school playing basketball. Countless times since paying basketball, baseball, running, and walking. I’d say 8 sever sprains over my lifetime with each of those putting me out on crutches for 3+ months. I’m 43 now and still play but last Thursday hit the ground extremely hard. Would’ve rolled my right ankle but had these on both feet wearing max aura 2 shoes. Had I not been wearing the shoes with these braces I’d been carted off to the hospital and would be in bed tonight lol. I’ve had minor tweaks of the ankles playing basketball in theses but that last game was scary. Glad I bought these and thankful they held up. Would’ve been disastrous with out them. If you play, get them and never cheap out on shoes either.

Para juego de basketball

Las utilizo para jugar basketball, se sienten cómodas, las recomiendo. Son voluminosas, en mi caso se adaptan bien a mis tennis de baloncesto.

New design over the lace type but maybe a 3 not quite 3+.

This is ok, I wouldn't think this is level 3+, maybe a 3. It is a bit pricey considering you can get other brands with a more sturdy design. But that depends on how you use it. This still allows a few movements and without hinges and plastic moldings, less chaffing or digging into anything, perfect for soccer, basketball, tennis, or jogging. However, you can't do much about tricky moves for soccer. Size wise, the elastic fabric part actually fits right for my size 8 foot in small, but the straps and the ankle part are just too small to fit. Straps not long enough So I had to exchange for medium/l. Then the straps are just the pefect length. But the tube sock is a bit loose, so wearing thick socks solve that. Fitment: First there are the verticle tube part that is opened on the back of your leg with 2 velcros to lock it down, then there are 2 staps that connects the sock part bottom, as you pull up the straps it locks down the sock part but it doesnt seen to pull the 2 vertical lateral inner and outer "splint" tighter, it just the socks... I will have to revise that again. Then the last strap at top seems to tighten the two splint but that is only the top. Which is fine, it would be perfect if there is adjustability at the ankle area. Construction is well made, the side splints are contoured forming to the shape with inner neoprene like cushion pads that makes it comfy to wear. I just got a impingment injury so that doesn't matter much for lateral stability, it does help a bit going upstairs. Dosiflexion, it does help a bit going up/down stairs But if I had a sprained ankle, these will definitely help. Overall pretty good ankle brace.

Runs big

I was advised to get the Medium/ Large size due to my shoe size. It is too big. I wear a womens shoes size 9-9.5. I should have ordered small.

Fantastic Support

I had ORIF surgery on my left tibia and fibula but I also rolled my right ankle in the process. I have a walker but it made me nervous putting my full body weight on my rolled ankle. The doc gave me a boot but I feel like it’s more trouble than it’s worth. So I bought this and I am NOT disappointed. Very easy to put on and assemble. It is in fact bulky, however I do feel like it offers the most support in this type of brace. It is a bit annoying about fitting into shoes, but I honestly can’t put a price on keeping my “good” ankle protected while I have plates and screws in the other.

Great support, good build quality BUT you may have an issue fitting it into your shoe! it is quite bulky. You definitely should try before you buy.

Fantastic support

I partially tore a ligament in my ankle three months ago playing volleyball. This brace provides the necessary support and stability that I was able to return playing near normal with comfort and confidence! Its comfortable, durable and not overly bulky. Its a bit snug in my shoe, but I was able to make it work!

Great support, fits small, too bulky

This product has amazing support. But I ordered the m/l and I have average size women’s feet and the straps were too short to secure as directed. Then the brace itself is so bulky I can’t fit any of my shoes on. How am I supposed to use it?

Effective and bulky

Warning: Doesn't remotely fit in a shoe. I tore a ligament (3rd degree sprain) and was put in an aircast/walking boot. (PSA: Wear your boot!! This isn't a substitute!) My doctor said I could take it off to sleep, but the covers dragging across my foot hurt so I got this. I was looking for the sturdiest thing I could find and this did the trick. After several weeks in the boot I switched to using this during the day and it's a lifesaver. The rigid parts are on the inside and outside of the ankle and very sturdy. I'll have to swap to something lighter to be able to wear normal footwear though.
