Love Love Love

Bought for my 38 yo son birthday. He was thrilled and happy to share it with his 7 yo and 4yo daughters. It's Magic ! They think. ????

Well worth the money!

I was engaged to be married and began to get cold feet. I consulted my magic 8 ball and it told me to ask again later. After a couple of hours I tried again. I asked if I should marry Julie and it said “My reply is no.” I asked if she was cheating on me and it told me “Yes definitely.” I asked if it was with Gary and it told me “Without a doubt.” I have since left Julie and am now questioning the paternity of our 8 month old child. I just wish my so called friends could have been as honest with me as the magic 8 ball. Only drawback is in order for the magic to work I had to pledge my undying soul to Mattel.

Can’t believe the eight ball is still around. I had this when I was a child in the 60’s and had hours of fun with it. Bought this for my grandchildren to play with. They’re having lots of fun with it asking questions to see if they come true

Great throwback

Bought this to replace one I lost many years ago. Ah the memories... Still has the same answers as the one I had back when, it just works harder on the newer, more philosophical questions I ask of it. Not a life changing crystal ball, it's still as tough to read if shaken too hard, but has the charm and the nostalgia I wanted. Great item, thanks.

This was my 8 year olds favourite present. He spent all the Christmas holidays asking it questions, which turned out to be surprisingly accurate!

Small and difficult to read

Nothing like the ones we had as kids. The 8 ball isn't very large, so the die inside is similarly much smaller. That means the writing on it is also smaller and in a thinner font so the answers are almost impossible to read at times. The blue dye it floats in is also very dark which further obscures the tiny printing when it gets between the die and the viewing window. But as a gag gift that won't get used more than a few times it's not the end of the world.
