nice quality and waterproof

I love the color of this jacket. I know it is a rain jacket but it is very thin. The advantage of that is it can pack into its own pocket. I wish there was a thin mesh lining between the jacket and skin. It gives me this plastic bag feeling and my children have mentioned it to me. My youngest has the watertight Columbia jacket but it has a thin mesh lining and it keeps the jacket from really sticking to his skin. It really isn't a huge deal if my older kids wear a light long sleeve but I wanted these for on the boat when there's a warm rain. We had a couple good days of rain here and they really are waterproof. I love that the zipper is protected by the two flaps, one over the other and secured by Velcro. I really do like them and I'm happy with my purchase. I got these for around $30+ on an awesome sale. After receiving these for my children and seeing how packable and waterproof they actually were, I was ready to purchase the women's adult version but Northface had a sale on their version and ultimately went with that jacket simply to do price. Overall, I love these jackets for the intended purposes...light, packable, and waterproof.

This shell holds up well for busy kids

I bought this jacket in a size M to replace the identical XS jacket my daughter was finally outgrowing. Fits as expected based on Marmot's size chart. The previous jacket is still in almost new condition even after 3 years of busy play in rain, snow, and wind. She wore it over a couple of different hooded fleece jackets when it was cold and wore it alone to fend off plenty of summer rains. I'm really impressed with the quality because my daughter doesn't shy away from dirt or mud and she's quick to climb any halfway sturdy looking tree!

Good jacket, add some waterproofing spray

Fits my 10 yr old daughter really well, with room for a sweater or fleece underneath. I don't think it's 100% waterproof as a Gore-tex jacket would be. I sprayed some waterproofing spray on the jacket that helps a lot with the waterproofing. Made it through a week at Disney Orlando, in some heavy rain, no problem. Packs down small and is light enough to throw into your backpack for the day.

Love it

Very very thick raincoat. Unlike many brands of raincoats where the material is very thin and when the wind blows you can feel the chill in your bones, this one is so thick that it literally keeps you warm and it's supposed to be a raincoat. Highly recommended.

Great Rain Jacket

Bought this for my daughter for Girl Scout camp. This is the second Marmot rain jacket she's had and it's the same great quality. Lightweight, compact, doesn't overheat you, great color, and fits as expected. My daughter is about 4'9" and about 100 pounds and the large fit great. Seller shipped quickly and it arrived on time. Would buy again.

Great light weight water proof jacket

Very lightweight but perfect for a spring or fall rainy day. The hood is great with a little extra brim to protect from the rain. My daughter is 10 and approx 55" tall and slender and I got her the medium. It fits great!

No es la primera que compro, buena marca, bien diseñada, bonita, muy ligera y totalmente impermeable, es cara, pero sola encuentras en oferta como en mi caso menos de 1000 pesos al precio de lista, súper recomendable

The rain jacket was way too small for my kid who is almost 13 yrs old and ordered a small. Be cardio with the size when ordering!
