Good for 9"x12" Trailmate Grill

I was using an adaptor to connect to my RV's propane quick-connect but the flame was just too low. Using the regulator (intended for 1lb bottles), even with I set to high it was more like medium. I spoke with Magma and they pointed out that I was in effect 'regulating' what was already regulated by my RV's dual-stage regulator. I swapped to this valve and got a hose (3/8 Female-Flare to quick-connect) and we are now cooking! The high is really a high now. You just need to be sure you order the correct valve for your size grill. There are several and they all look the same but they are specific to the size of your grill.

Needed - but not really suitable for a marine environment

This was a replacement for the valve on our grill. So, it was necessary - no choice. But it should be more robust for a marine environment.
