My Hands Finally Feel Safe
Disclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself. I've been doing a lot of tool restoration lately and that involves refinishing a lot of bladed items. Nothing says a good time to ol' Bacchus here than fiddling around with rusty sharps! But seriously, I do enjoy salvaging tools and equipment destined to be melted down, fixing them, and using them again. As a certain someone would say, it spark joy. What I DON'T like is the ever present fear of absolutely slam-jamming a pruner blade into my hand. That does not spark joy. Of any kind. So when these became available, I made the (for the first time ever) prudent decision to offer my hands some protection. And it's been great. These puppies are real rough and tumble customers that can take a beating. I've been restoring an old hatchet and I can just palm the edge with no problem. It's not SHARPENED yet but still, I feel confident in my grip and my safety to do so. And it's made restoring tools easier, too. These things absorb liquids and oils which is great for stuff caked in lubricant...but also for when my hands get sweaty. Which isn't often because these things breathe so well I think they may be sentient. They're like the Sorting Gloves, or something. And the grip coating really lets you get a purchase on things the way others just...couldn't. With other gloves, it's felt like the coating shifts with the fabric but with these the fabric doesn't shift at all because that coating is lodged in there REAL good. So, would I recommend them? Yup. Even for the price tag ($14.70 at time of writing on 6/7/22), they're worth it. You only get two hands in life. So don't be like Job. Protect your hands. And don't go swimming in the ocean.

Good for working outdoors
I use these all the time now. I used to use the old school leather work gloves, but I wanted something I could handle more delicate stuff with or at least more precision so I got these. So far they're great - they're a bit tight fitting but - they've been excellent for gardening or mowing the lawn. These are my go-to pair now for when I'm doing stuff outside.

Not bad for changing car oil
Keeps hands clean and dry. We like that the rubber coating is higher up on the top of the gloves. This provides cleaner work experience with dirty, oily work.

Safety First
I tend to get cuts or at least scrapes/scratches on my hands whenever doing any work on my car, and these gloves have helped reduce that slightly (mostly because I actually want to reach for them when working). Gloves I typically use include: - rubber/nitrile - great against liquids, but tear too easily (I may need to try some thicker, more heavy duty ones) - leather, with reinforced/padded knuckles - protective, but bulky - coated gloves (bulk) - sometimes hit or miss, but are generally good enough for carrying objects without very sharp edges, and for basic multi-purpose use, including gardening Here are some of my thoughts on these gloves so far: - I ordered based on the sizing guidelines provided, and the fit was spot on. - The coating is grippy and flexible - it moves very well with my hand. - The fabric seems to breathe well. - I had initially wondered whether 13 gauge would be too thick, but this has not been an issue at all. - compared to the other kinds of gloves mentioned above, this pair from MAGID is move versatile than all 3, but it likely would not provide as much protection as the leather gloves with reinforced knuckles

Cut & liquid resistant general purpose gloves
At first glance these look like your typical rubber over-molded work gloves. These are a step above those gloves however, as they are ANSI A4 rated cut resistant gloves. That means that there are able to resist medium cut hazards of 1500-2199 grams of force. This is right about the middle of the ANSI scale. The rating is clearly and colorfully noted on the backside of the glove. You can see the upgraded material that this is made out of on a couple of my pics of the insides of the gloves. One slightly confusing aspect of these gloves is in the title of the ad stating that they are "oil & liquid absorbing." In fact what they really mean is quite the opposite of that. They are oil and liquid RESISTANT due to the rubbery overmolding. These D-ROC gloves are made true to size. I got the size large to fit my wife who wears a large glove, and these fit perfectly. I have an extra large hand and these gloves do not fit me. So, order your normal size in these gloves. I can't speak to the durability yet, but I have been impressed with the quality and features of the D-ROC gloves so far. They look to be a good bargain at the price being charged for an A4 cut resistant glove.

Nice work gloves
These work gloves for well (true to size). They are comfortable and are great to protect your hands from oils, chemicals and other potentially harmful agents. These can also be used for working in the yard as well. Only time will tell about the longevity and durability of these gloves, but so far, I’m impressed. See my pictures for details. Thank you for reading my review.

Comfortable, sturdy, and safe feeling
These work great for all sorts of projects. I mainly use them for gardening -- the rubberized hand area doesn't let moisture soak through, and it also doesn't allow thistles and stickers to get caught on the gloves -- but I also use them for more esoteric hobbies, like flintknapping, which poses serious dangers from cuts to the fingers. The gloves are comfortable and sturdy, and feel very safe. My favorite feature is the extra layer of rubber (with grooves for extra stretching) in the area between the thumb and forefinger.
