Foundry worker

I’m not a welder, but I need every bit of protection I can get for my hands when I slag off my furnace. This has been holding up and working well for over a month now. Better than the Chinese garbage that comes unsown after an hour that my job provides.

Good hand protector

Works good until you stick your hand to close or have it angled wrong and the wool gets singed holds up pretty well for indoor aluminum mig welding though had it a week and just not over heated the leather

Great bar wish I had one long ago

Now maybe I won’t have to buy so many gloves because the left one is shriveled up from heat damage. I’m a right hand welder

They work!

Worked well. I used it on my right calf to keep the heat off my leg on right side of my motorcycle engine. I have since installed spacers on my foot boards and eliminated the problem. Good product though.

Misleading listing

The listing advertises as a pair while only shipping you one. The seller needs to fix their listing or actually ship a pair. The heatshield itself is like any other heatshield

Great little helper

Works great! Not a thick pad but helps protect against heat with mig and flux core welding.
