Gets the job done but....

We live on the coast and spend a lot of time at the beach. I wanted a lightweight cooler with a shoulder strap for picnic items. This gets the job done, however, the zipper for the main compartment is VERY temperamental and stiff. My 8 year old can't open or close it herself, which is an inconvenience. I debated sending it back for this reason, but ultimately kept it, knowing I will be the only one who can zip/unzip the main compartment. Hopefully it will relax with usage? Fingers crossed.

Cooler

Maelstrom cooler just arrived. The blue color is nice looking. Has a ton of pockets! The zippers were very stiff to unzip. I tried the "soap" method on the top zipper and that seemed to help. Will try it on a road trip next week. Update to follow...

Fantastic!

Great find and we get a ton of use out of it. I did find it leaking on the 2nd use but can’t find a hole. Maybe it was condensation and not leakage.

Gorgeous Watermelon Color

This cooler is huge. It matches my Salmon color Yeti cooler. The inside of the Yeti is small. I’m sure it’s due to massive insulation technology. But it just is not enough room for traveling. This cooler makes up for that. I will have to purchase those blue plastic things to keep it cold. The price was ok being I will have to spend $$ for blue plastic ice packs that you have to freeze the night before. I’m happy with my purchase

Bright orange!

Wow i love this cooler! It is sturdy and great at keeping food cool - i will say though for those of you eying the orange it is BRIGHT haha. Really a fluorescent orange you will see miles away. A great buy certainly!

Survived being checked baggage on airline

I flew with this cooler containing 45#s of Yellowfin tuna. The cooler survived the flight perfectly AND my tuna was still frozen solid.

Fits a great pick nik

Looking for a review that showed food. Look no further. Juice boxes as ice packs. But there was still tons of room. Three boxes of sandwiches, two huge water bottles, cans fruit and a bag of chips. Now for the temp test ????????????

Le seul bémol tient aux fermetures à glissières. Un peu difficiles à manoeuvrer. Je vais les vaporiser avec de la silicone pour les faire mieux glisser. Mais autrement, voilà un produit impeccable et peu dispendieux.

Grandeur parfaite!

Nous sommes deux et la grandeur est parfaite! Partie en vacance, mis des "icepacks" pour garder nos aliments congelés et 8 heures plus tard, tout était encore congelé ???? A aussi servi durant les vacances et avons beaucoup aimé!

Great size, well-made picnic cooler bag

This cooler bag is quite large, and as others have said, has a slight tendency to droop (one side) when not filled up. So far it has worked really well, and the zips seem to move just fine.

Better than any hard cooler I've ever owned

Kept the ice frozen for quite a few hours. Kept food and buns separate in the top section with ice packs, nothing got wet Lots of storage. I would recommend this cooler over any hard cooler out there
