Worked as intended

It looks like it works well. It definitely recorded I had a fever when I felt pretty bad, so I think it’s accurate. Now that I’m back to normal, it has me at 98.7. The only knock against it is that it takes too long to record the temperature. A minor annoyance, but you have to keep the thermometer in your mouth for well over a minute at times before it beeps. I could see that being an issue for small children that are impatient. Overall, does as intended.

An excellent basic temperature thermometer for home use.

Recently, while recovering from an illness I realized we did not have a thermometer in our medicine cabinet. I immediately went online and while browsing on Amazon I came across this product (MABIS Digital thermometer for adults, children, and babies, oral and underarm temperature) and purchased three of them. The delivery service was fantastic. The thermometer works great and I am happy with my purchase. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. The only reason for knocking off a star is because there are no instructions, and no way to zero it out. That being said, I was able to get this on next-day delivery while I am sick. It came well-packaged, and has a plastic storage box for in-between usage. My old thermometer went dark, and this one looked like it would serve me well. It takes 60 seconds to reach the temp, and beeps loud enough to hear it when it's done. It retains the last temp reading when you wake it up again. If you hold the power button down, it will reduce the starting point of the temp reading. I have taken my temp three times today (it is still, going up. :( The first time I tried to "tare" it to zero, it read "low". The next two times it slowly counted down to somewhere around 98.6 (not the same number each time). But, since I know I have a temp, that was fine for me.

The wait time on this is much longer than my old one, which is annoying. It does seem to be accurate though.
