If you're too cheap to buy these...

...you shouldn't be trolling with dipsy divers in the first place. If you troll the great lakes for trout/salmon/walleye, you need to have dipsy divers in your arsenal, paired with these snubbers. These snubbers act as shock absorbers for your 5-10 feet of leader material when larger fish strike the lure. Be smart, don't lose a trophy fish because you decided to fish a dipsy without a snubber.
