These were a nice touch to our luau party. The only thing I would say was not as good was that they didn't have the little rubber band around the straw that keeps the umbrella open. It would be a 5 star product if that was there.

Cheap, but expected

These are pretty much as you expect.... kinda cheap.... some work, some were trash and not useable. I would say about 1/2 of them would not stay open, 1/2 of those broke in really carefully attempting to open. Just FYI... if you're considering, double or triple the amount you may need. The umbrella's are obviously paper, the center part is also paper, but a bit heavier construction paper (?). The center piece (construction paper) moves up and down the straw which makes it really tricky to open, even with great care.

It's a little tedious having to put them all together

These did the trick. It's a little tedious having to put them all together, and you have to gingerly open the umbrella to not break the holding stick, but for our Luau party, it worked fine. Helped give it that extra festive feel!

And the $3 price was right too. They are really more of a prop type item. The kids really liked them.

Just okay...

Not the greatest quality but good enough for a special occasion

"Drinks with little umbrellas sticking out of them!" - Lionel Tribbey

Basic straws with funky umbrella. Daughter loved them for a Moana themed birthday party. Deducted one star as the umbrella doesn't have any mechanism to stay extended. Needs a tiny rubber band or equivalent as I have seen on typical drinks with umbrellas.
