Love these bulbs!

These are so great that i'm getting more for the whole house. Wherever I usually have a 40w regular bulb, i'm replacing with these. They appear to give off just as much light as those old 40w ones for just 3w of power used. Even though it says they're 25w equivalent, their pretty dang bright and more similar to 40w light in my opinion, and it's incredible the energy savings when you think about it. For example, each evening i'll have 8 different lamps on. With old 40w regular bulbs, that's 320 watts used....but with these, the total is just 48w, which is equivalent to a little over ONE bulb wattage of the old ones! To light EIGHT lamps! Crazy! I'm getting more for over the vanity in both baths and also for guest bedroom. Even if my electric bill goes down just 5 bucks monthly, these pay for themselves in a few months. And if they really do last for years like it claims, all the better. The light it gives off isn't harsh either. It appears very similar to a regular 40w bulb. The only place i'm not using these is my dining room chandelier and kitchen. For those, I have the 6w (40w equivalent) LED to have brighter light shining there. I'm actually looking forward to my next electric bill now lol. Also, living in FL and central air running constantly, all those old 40w bulbs give off lots of heat. With these, it's not the case at all as they're not hot at all, so it will ease up the AC usage as well. So i'm anticipating more savings there. Highly recommended.

All outward appearances are good, but...

My choices for a 3-watt LED vanity bulb were extremely limited, so I was delighted to find these on Amazon. Exactly the quantity I was looking forward at a lower price than I expected. Seemed like a perfect fit, looked good in the fixtures and provided more than adequate illumination until I happened to turn on my radio to catch the news. What to my wondering ears should appear but a constant level of noise. Since the only change in the house prior to the interference was replacement of incandescent bulbs in our bathroom over-sink fixtures, I switched off the lights and, voila, no more interference. I have since switched from incandescents to LEDs in other locations (More that 3w) without experiencing any interference. Further research has indicated the possibility that method of manufacture (i.e., more cheaply made) has been identified as a cause of such problems. I will look for a different manufacturer of 3w LED bulbs before I form a final opinion. For now, it's radio off while bathroom is in use.

Excellent little pure white bulbs - I only wish they could be purchased individually

These are just what I was looking for. I needed 25 Watt equivalent bulbs for the light fixture in my kitchen, and with three sockets, even 40 Watt equivalent bulbs make my small kitchen too bright. I considered getting a dimmer, but I saw these were available in 5000K color temperature (pure "daylight" white). I strictly only use 5000K bulbs in my home, but have a hard time finding them in anything less than 40 Watt equivalent. These bulbs are the perfect brightness for my needs, and they are good quality, and are truly 5000K as described. I would also say they are pretty cute. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of the 5 that it would otherwise deserve, is because it is only available in a 6-pack, and I would like to be able to buy them individually. Each bulb comes in its own individual box, so there is no apparent reason one should not be able to buy them that way. I actually plan to buy more in the future, but since I can only buy them in 6-packs, I will have some left over, which means I am wasting money on bulbs I do not need.

Have more of a yellow tinge than other 2700k LEDs

Have been purchasing various LED lights to replace bulbs in various light fixtures around the house. These are 2700k bulbs, but they do emit more of a "yellow" tinge than the Cree 2700k LED lights I also purchased. With the Cree's I don't notice any yellow tinge at all, and the light is "softer." The Cree's I purchased were 4W, and it seems like there aren't that many 3W LED bulbs available with the base size that I need, so I will keep these even with more of the "yellow" tinge, and get used to it. They are NOT on a dimmer, just an on/off switch. These bulbs have a 1yr warranty, the Cree's have a 10 year warranty, so I am a little concerned about that also. I actually keep receipts and hope the manufacture is still in business to honor their warranty :). For the increased price of the LED bulbs, they need to last. I just started using these (01/09/2017) so I will post back if they stop working prematurely. I do have an LED bulb (don't remember the manufacturer, and from a brick & mortar store) in a very difficult to reach location, outside in harsh conditions, that is on 8hrs per day. It has been running for two years now, so that is 5840 hours on it so far. It was rated at 10000 hours, so hopefully it will make it that long. If these bulbs actually do make 30000 hours they package says is possible (but not warrantied), they will be an excellent purchase, time will tell and I will raise my star rating...

Brighter, whiter... and tighter?

LOHAS LED 3W(25 Watt Equivalent) Light Bulbs, Warm White 2700K These are non-dimmable lower wattage LED bulbs that, for my application, ended up being a bit too white, a bit too bright and, where the threaded socket meets the bulb, too tight for some of my fixtures: The bulbs would get hung up on the socket at the plastic lip (as can be seen in the product images) and not screw in completely. The bulbs did thread into other fixtures so it's not a showstopper for all fixtures, just not fixtures I had in mind for these bulbs. In the end, I exercised Amazon's reasonable return policy. YMMV

I didn't expect the bulb size is small when I received it, but it fits to my ceiling light fixture. The quality is good and effeciency.

Beautiful looking and great light

I will buy more to replace old bulbs almost anywhere. Being 86 years old I will never know how long they last but LED lights are supposed to last a very long time . The best and most elegant bulbs I ever bought .

Just what I needed!

I needed a light bulb similar to the light emitted from the old style incandescent bulbs that were 25 watt…. Ambient without the glare for my Tiffany lamps. This bulb is absolutely perfect! Will be ordering more!
