Not made for big dogs

Item was ordered for my black lab. We measured her neck, chest and stomach area to ensure the Large size would be sufficient. We received just in time for the Michigan - Ohio State game on Saturday, November 26. I pulled it out of the package and noticed it was not durably constructed. The hook for the leash to attach to was plastic and the overall harness was smaller than expected. It still had the Michigan M so I figured we could use it on game days only, definitely not durable enough for daily use. My husband took our lab for a short walk with her new harness and he came back with the chest strap dangling. The stitching came off of the plastic attachment. I am returning this item. It may be good for a small dog, but I would definitely not recommend for any medium to large size dog. Very disappointing.
