Day of delivery get notification that it’s late for another 3 days… Amazon delivery here lately hasn’t arrived on delivery dates for last few orders. But this jack is good have had before

Buy a cover

I am replacing a Smart Jack that was installed on my Lance 1475 trailer. The jack works just fine but, for something that is always in the elements, the membrane controller on top is not designed to be. It gets sunbaked and falls apart. Lippert does not sell a replacement for the controller, so you need to buy a new jack. As directed by Lippert, buy a cover for the jack. Live and learn.

Might be better than advertised.

Using it to replace my second jack on my 24' toy hauler/trailer. Not going to talk about the features advertised other than the fact that they work as advertised. But I will add that although it's much slower than two jacks I used to own, the automatic features render this shortcoming irrelevant. In fact, it being slower make it quieter to the point you can just use the auto raise and lower features while doing other things, like begin the hook/unhook process. And did I mention this thing is quiet? Like quiet enough to sneak out of a camp in the morning without waking up your neighbors. If I ever break this thing, I'm definitely getting another. Hope this helps anyone.

Still an issue I see

I read a lot of reviews about the jack arriving with a cracked housing. This has been a problem in the reviews for a while, maybe a year or more. It has the features I really want, so I decided to buy it thinking the issue of the cracks would be addressed. I was wrong. The housing came with cracks on both sides of the buttons. Ridiculous. I ended up putting a silicone sealant over it. Hopefully it keeps water out. I’m very disappointed this hasn’t been fixed yet.

Looks Like a quality product

Just purchased this unit to replace to original RAM jack on our camper. It was really easy to install, and seem to be very high quality. Had it swapped out and wired up in less that 30 minutes. I just hooked the truck to the hitch and swapped them out. It is loaded with cool features like hitch height memory and auto retract and has a huge foot plate on it that I really like.

Broken out of the box!!

I haven’t installed this yet but like most of the reviews mine was cracked in 2 places. On each side of the control panel. No damage at all on the box it was shipped in. I’m going to go ahead and install it over the weekend after using some silicone on the cracks and hope for the best since it seems that these people can’t come up with some way to prevent this from happening.

No Crack!!!

Happy to report that mine arrived without the dreaded crack. Got it installed and working without any issues. I'll report back if things change, but as of not, shipping was good and the items is as advertised. Slight negative is thats it's a bit slower than I expected, but with the smart feature, I care less.

Great jack.

Bought this to replace my previous jack that no longer worked. Installation was easy. Set it up to remember height of ball. Tested and everything works great. Super quiet.

Buttons are very finicky

The up and down buttons are very finicky and don’t work well. It’s really hard to use the presets as it doesn’t seem to acknowledge when the buttons are pushed. Super frustrating for the money spent, would have just purchased a normal one
