Great looking faucet, unique hook-up, poor pivot rod

Love the faucet overall, but the drain pivot rod wasn't much more than a coat hanger - c'mon Kohler. I actually couldn't use it because I have a thicker backsplash, so I had to spend more money for a pop-up drain.

Beautimous.

Bought several items in this style (faucet, TP holder, hook). The plumber installed the faucet on the Pre drilled marble top before moving the top to the vanity. He said it was easy to install and wouldn’t have been difficult to install in a countertop already in place. The whole line is well made, heavy, shiny (chrome version) and easy to clean. No parts were missing from the box and the faucet was well packed.

Handles started to unscrew with normal use. Total fail in design for the drain pull lever.

We purchased 2 sets of the widespread faucets. Both were installed professionally. Different times, different plumber each time. The cold water faucet in the master bathroom began to squeak when the handle was turned on and off. Upon inspection, I noticed that the cylindrical piece under the handle was turning with the handle, in effect becoming unscrewed. After tightening it up, no more squeaking. I then checked the faucet in the guest bathroom and saw that the same type of loosening had also happened to the hot water faucet. I'm not sure if this is something that will need to be consistently monitored. I'm afraid of over tightening them because we know bad things can happen when any plumbing thingies are over tightened. Minus one-star for the self-unscrewing "feature". Minus another star because the pull-up for the drain looks ridiculous. It almost looks as though it was made from a wire clothes hanger. Minus yet another star just for the heck of it.

Stylish faucet - but water spots galore

This is a solid, well-made fixture and it's stylish. But polished chrome handles and spout always show water spots. The only way to eliminate this visual blemish is to continually wipe down the fixture. The flat, horizontal surfaces of the handle and spout most apparently show the water spots. If I didn't have other polished chrome fixtures in the bathroom I would select a satin finish.

I'm hoping someone contacts me - so far one piece is missing - when we're done installing _ i'll have more info - sincerly, really pissed
