Al most perfect but 2 flaws

This drill holster is almost perfect. Its not to big and not to small, will hold a 18v driver or drill, made out of good material, workmanship is solid, looks good. The downs are the small lower closing pocket is badly designed way too small. If the pocket was extended all the way to the bottom and widened an inch at least it would be excellent. The other pockets for drill/driver bits are similar to most others drill holsters This drill holster "dose not" have velcro for securing in it in place for tool belts with velcro, for some that could be good but for me I would have liked velcro on the drill holster. All in all this Klein drill holder was the best for my needs as an electrician out of the other brands I looked over.

Great holster

I just love how great it is. Tried before other brands, but nothing like Klein tools. The only perform it has is the Velcro for the clip, it always keeps falling because it has been worn out.

Perfect drill holster for what I use

I bought this for my Ryobi 18v drill. The holster fits perfectly on my bags when at work. I did notice that if you have a smaller drill, like an impact drill, that it won't fit as nicely in the holster without using the strap to keep it secure. With my line of work, I need to constantly holster and unholster my drill without having it strapped in. So, if you have a smaller drill and use it as much as I do when working, then possibly be prepared for the drill to fall out a lot. It is well made and a good design, but unless you have a larger drill it won't stay in the holster as easily if not strapped in while walking around or going up and down ladders.

Tough holster with plenty of room for all the bits you’ll need on any given day.

Kind of wish it had a clip to make it easier to change on belts, but it is a great holster for any drill. I keep my Milwaukee M18 drill/driver with several types and length bits in it all at the same time and they stay easily accessible for quick changes. From drilling out holes for rough in, to swapping out to phillips or other screw bits for installing outlet/switch boxes.

Worth a try, I liked it but I eventually found something better

The drill pouch (specifically for the drill/impact) is not big enough or the lip extends too much causing the drill to activate so you have to make sure your drill/impact is in the standby/off mode when stowing you’re drill/impact. The drill bit holder with the bottom sewed closed is nice but would be better if it was elastic and sewed close. The pouch with the Velcro closable cover is nice. I use it to keep my stubby screwdriver and a 10/32 tap bit (I do a lot of commercial remodels). The two elastic open loops are good for a small flashlight and tape measure but they breakdown rather quickly but still function properly to hold a tape measure and flashlight because of the clip on the flashlight and tape measure. The durability is incredible and the stitching hold true. It’s a solid product but may not work with your idea of what you are willing lug around all day on the job site. It is worth purchasing and giving a try.

This one is made better that the yellow and black brand. It has puckets and holders for bits. Perfect.

Great for smaller drills, not great for bigger ones.

It worked great for my Milwaukee M18 Cordless drill, up until the point where I upgraded to a larger, beefier 5 amp-hour battery. At this point, the drill holster showed its flaws in the shape. The drill tends to rotates 90 degrees right, where it's resting on its trigger and activating the drill, while on the brink of falling out and hitting things. Sure, I can use the lock but it's more trouble keeping it than it's worth, especially when the bit of the drill would get caught on it when putting it back in.

Fits ok

its a bit expensive for a holster but I bought it anyways because I never had a bad experience with Klein tools yet. My m18 impact with a 5amp battery kind of like to swing around if I don’t strap it, slowly getting use to it tho

Impact holster

Love the impact holster, my impact slides in and is easy to retrieve out of the holster again. I’m a construction electrician and putting my impact down got very inconvenient so having it in a holster by my side is great

Best pouch ive ever found!

Love this holster fits both sizes of impacts. I primarily use it for the 12v. And i really like the spot for bits and they never fall out! Ordered a second for my home pouch after using it at work!
