Maybe the last "Polished Brass" two handle shower product available

The shower is renewed without having to remodel the tiled shower to accommodate the modern one handle shower fixture.

Very satisfied

I ordered 2 different brand name shower faucets and both had some plastic parts which I didn’t want. This faucet was all metal. I did not want to install a shower valve and new tiles with something plastic. I was very happy with this faucet.

Kingston Brass Chrome KB241

I had an old 2 handle setup in my house that was original to the house, which made the valve 42 years old. The water came out the shower head and the tub faucet equally, even with no diverter hooked up so I knew it was the shower valve setup that needed replaced. Initially I bought a moen alder 2 handle setup from menards, that was the biggest piece of JUNK I have ever owned. The main valve body bent easily and felt cheap from the box. The handles and tub diverter were all plastic and cheap. I decided to try it and hook it up and the water pressure was practically nothing , so after that I was tired of dealing with that junk, so I purchased this. The Kingston brass handles are metal and the shower valve had the chrome sleeves already over the handle valves and were not some cheap ones you slid over, they were threaded on. The shower valve itself was solid and had larger diameter pipe than the moen so I knew I would get better water pressure. Install went smooth, and this whole setup was a lot more solid and with only 1/4 turn on each handle for full pressure it is very easy to operate my 6 year old can now start and stop his own baths and showers. Yes the shower head is junk but I didn't need it anyways, I use a Culligan filtered shower head, and that was worth the money as well, big difference in the water quality. Great product that is durable and for the price you can't beat it. It seems like the 2 handle options are always getting slimmer because of the "scold guard" that they are making in the one handled valves. This is a nice setup and with three showers in the house with 2 valve setups I may purchase an extra one to keep around in case they stop offering it.

Meh Shower Head

My husband ordered this for our bathroom remodel. It’s functional and on-trend, but the shower head was not powerful. More like being slobbered on by a large dog than being sprayed by an elephant. We purchased another shower head that would actually remove the shampoo from your hair and it’s all good!

Only reasonably-priced polished brass 2 handled Faucet.

I could not find any other two-handled shower Faucet in polished brass except from Kingston brass. Kohler had one, but it was $600 and that was ridiculous. The brass was fine, and the shower works well. I don't know how long it will last because I have not heard many good things about the longevity of Kingston brass products. However, you can always replace the handles if they get tarnished, and that is cheap. The valve rough-in looked like good quality, and that is the expensive part to replace since you have to open up the wall to replace the rough in.

Looks nice but has flaws.

I replaced an old fixture that was the same configuration as this so it was easy to install. The good part about this fixture is the brushed nickel finish is very elegant looking. It is solid brass underneath and very sturdy. the downside is the shower head is not metal, it is plastic and very cheap. the water comes out every which direction. So get a different shower head. The handles unscrew very easily so I put glue in the threads. The tub spout sprays unevenly too. I don't know it it was assembled incorrectly but I don't want to take it off so it is what it is. Beware when assembling the pipes to the fixture, it is only soldered together and might come loose if you try to twist it. I'm saying this because I broke the old one removing the pipes from it and this one is of the same construction. I got this one as an open box, all the parts were there except the literature, so the price was right.

Great faucet

This was a great purchase. I went around to several large home improvement stores and small plumbing shops looking for a brushed nickel finish on a two handle faucet setup. Most products are now only one handle in the middle (due to government regulations). I was even told at a specialty plumbing shop that you couldn't find these anymore. You can, and this one works fine and looks good.
