Love this light

Great style. Easy to install, even without an assistant. The Kichler brand is more expensive for this style light, but the quality is much better. The base is much more study

easy installation, looks great

One hard part was adjusting the length of the mounting post so the base would sit flush against the ceiling. And that was not hard at all. The other hard part was attaching the nut to hold the base to the post -- you may need to recruit a teenager with skinny fingers. The package includes screws to mount the base to your existing box and 3 wire nuts. Would be a little nicer looking if the glass had some swirls but it is still really attractive. As part of my order I bought 2 lights of a different style and I'm kinda tempted to return and replace them with this kind.

Beautiful modern light fixture

This is exactly what I wanted: simple, clean, modern, and stylish. I bought this fixture mostly because I didn't want the light bulbs or any hardware to be visible. I hate when you can see the insulation housing - unless it's part of the design, such as this one. There are 3 arms that hold the shade in place. Two are fixed and one wiggles a bit to allow the glass to be removed easily. The ball ends do not come off. It's the perfect size for a bedroom. The only thing I would change about it is that I'd like a little texture to the glass. If it had some alabaster type swirls it would be perfect.

looks great

Basically worked precisely the way we wanted to, updating the look of an apartment front room. Definitely recommend it to others. Unfortunately downgrading review to 4 stars since it seems to easily collect "dust" in the basin and start to look ugly/require maintenance (depending on how often you like cleaning your fixtures). This also seems "larger" than some other kichler 2 light semi flush items, somehow? (half an inch or an inch wider than another 2 bulb kichler we had installed) so be careful what you order size wise.

Great product.

We bought several of these from a different vendor when finishing up an addition to our house. Then when we did some remodeling to the original house, we bought three more, and am considering another one. In addition to direct lighting through the glass, the fixture allows reflected light from the ceiling.

Lovely as artwork; did not like shadows cast by brackets

This is a very pretty piece and we had no trouble installing it. Unfortunately, the brackets attaching the glass to the center column block some of the the light, casting shadows on the ceiling. It's not a look I like, so I returned the fixture.

Misleading picture

Once installed, these look bigger than their dimensions, so they overwhelmed my relatively small bedrooms. The bigger problem, though, is that while the picture shows a handsome curve to the bowl, the actually light is quite flat. They just aren't attractive at all. I returned them.

Fantastic light

The picture does not do it justice. I bought 2 lights for my hallways. LED is bright, light is modern and chic. Perfect for the hallways. Well made and easy to install. Would definitely order again. Great price.
