Attractive But Expensive

We have had these deck lights (bronze) for over 5 years and they work great. Enough light to illuminate the steps down spaced about five feet apart. They are attractive and not real noticeable on our Trex decking. We changed the deck a bit and needed more lights for an additional step. The same lights are still available so we purchased two more. They were and are still expensive. I don't know if others lights work as well, but we were told by others that Kichler is among the best which is why we went with them originally. The only thing I did notice is that the metal boxes that hold the bulb did rust on the older ones. The electrician said he could switch them out for plastic since it is an outside wet application. The light holder and wiring are separate from the junction box so it won't be an issue to change them. But the part holding the bulb also appears to be rusting so it may be a moot point to change the box. Overall we are very please with the look and practical application of this product. We would have gone to LED but the original were Incandescent and we were afraid the light would appear different. After 5 years we haven't had to replace any bulbs. We don't use the deck much at night so our bulb usage may be a bit longer than normal.

Great for outdoor living..!

This lighting fixtures look great... I am going to install them this weekend on a stone bar wall, will try to post some pictures later on... Will match and blend perfectly with the stone. One of the bulbs was broken when I got them, but those little fellows are like $6 bucks for a 4 pack... and are easy to find. For now I am pleased with how they look and the packaging they came in, probably need to place the bulb inside the metal box instead that just above everything. I will update my report when this beauties are installed..!
