Perfect lamp for a three season room or screened porch

Sturdy lamp with a heavy base to prevent wind from knocking it over. The inner globes are plastic and not glass so no worries if a strong wind does knock it over. We used amber colored bulbs (ordinary medium base) as bulbs are not included, to create the perfect ambience for an evening outside.

Problematic Lamp Shades

Bought three of these outdoor lamps. Of the six lamp shades three of them were problematic. * Two shade were damaged upon arrival. Got one to fit on the lamp socket fixture by "pinching" the damaged edge with the holding tube. The second was too damaged. * The third shade's dark plastic webbing won't compress enough to allow it to be secure to the fixture. I cut some of the webbing away up around where it was to fit in the fixture. But the real thing that bothered me was that neither Amazon or the manufacturer would simply exchange these three shades. They shipped me an entire new lamp assembly. I begged them to just send me replacement shades. No luck This may sound like a good solution were it not for the fact that I have to return an entire boxed lamp assemble. I'm a 75 year old disabled senior with a Honda Civic and it's a struggle to haul this heavy box down to UPS.

I love that the lamp is differnt looking. Really adds character to our outdoor patio. I've had many compliments on it.

Great light

This is my second outdoor light. My neighbors in our campsite tells us how nice they look. Our campsite is very dark so we leave it on all night so that if one of us get up before dawn we still have light.

nice lamp

The lamp is nice; cord very heavy so gives confidence it will hold up outside on the porch. My only complaint...the cord coming out of the back doesn't line up correctly with the position of the shades which makes the cord have to be positioned toward the side of the lamp for the shades to line up correctly.

So that upset me but the lamp itself is gorgeous and looks just like the photo

I want to say it really does deserve 5 stars the only reason I am down grading it to 4 is that no where in the description did it say it was a plug in lamp. I was needing it to be a hard wire. I am going to have to call an electrician to take the plug off and make it so I can hardwire it into the ceiling. So that upset me but the lamp itself is gorgeous and looks just like the photo. I cant wait to see it hanging in my coastal dining room.
