The BEST Floats

THIS IS A GREAT RAFT/POOL HAMMOCK

After years of inflatable rafts and inner tubes, we wanted something portable and east-to-use. This lounger nicely fits the bill. First, it’s easy to inflate requiring only a half-dozen breaths to inflate the perimeter and another half-dozen for the pillow. For us, it does exactly what we wanted - the mesh allows water under you to keep you cool while the sides keep you floating and stable. The pillow is comfortable too but you might want adjust its inflation based upon your personal comfort. The perimeter is some sort of fabric that appears durable but offers comfort. After use, we let in air dry. A huge selling point are the two valves. You simply pull out the stopper and then the actual valve to its full extended length. This allows the air to escape easily and the raft is ready for collapsing and storage. Getting the raft to collapse properly takes a few attempts but is no biggie after your first success. You then just stuff it back in its carrying case and you’re good to go. As long as this floaty holds up, we’re very pleased. We’ll vacation at the beach later this year and this item is now on the priority packing list. ????

THE Best Floating Pool Chair!

Over the years I have tried just about every pool chair out there. The ones you put foam through netting, weak and rips, the cheap blow up ones you buy at Wal-Mart, well, they get holes w/in a week, patches, that's a joke! I even tried SwimWays, because they were a bit cheaper and seemed to have good reviews. Then we needed a 2nd chair, but SwimWays was sold out, so I bought this for myself. The person who kept the SwimWays chair is out of a chair this year. She used it about a dozen times last year, we stored it properly, and got it out, blew it up, and when she got out if, it was half flat! The seams had simply ripped all over the place! Now, the Kelsyus chair is nearly identical, you think, but the craftsmanship is clearly better because I used this exact chair pictured here nearly every day last summer and when I got it out of storage this year and blew it up, perfect shape. No leaks, no holes, no tearing, no ripping, no holes in any seams, still looks brand new! Pros: 1. Quality material and craftsmanship! 2. Allows just enough pool water though (depends on your weight really) to keep you cool, but not totally immersed. 3. Comfortable to the max! I can fall asleep in this thing! 4. Want to cross your legs? Go ahead! It won't tip over! Honest! 5. It blows up fast and holds air very well. I rarely have to add air to it and when I do, it's a few pumps to firm it up. 6. Has never blown away in a storm and I don't have a holder! I put it upside down on the edge of the pool with the "head rest" hanging over near the water and it's fine. I suspect if a storm ever gets that strong, it will just blow it into the pool. Cons: That drink holder is a joke, but I've never found a chair/raft/float or otherwise where they actually work. They are lopsided from the air and pressure, the weight of your body, and they fill right up with water. Eh. NO biggie, I keep my water bottle on the deck anyway. I'm not that lazy I can't get up and get a drink. - Yeah, that's the ONLY con! Did I mention that I also have the raft and I love it too. I also have a SwimWays raft and guess what, it's dead in the water (pun intended) this season too! Love Kelsyus. Just bought one with a footrest so I can give the poor soul who's SwimWay chair died mine. She doesn't like the footrest idea, but I do! Great excuse for another pool chair! Buy with confidence!

love that these fold up!!

love these practical pool floats. long enough, east to inflate, but tricky to fold up. i wish the shoulder strap bag was also mesh. the bag to store them in is plastic, so you need to let the floats dry completely before putting them away.

Ocean float

I purchased this float this summer and used it for the first time in the ocean. It’s very comfortable and durable. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to get back into the travel bag at times. I would purchase it again!

Overall pretty good

It’s very easy to inflate and holds air for a long time. My only criticism is that the rigid ring inside can be a bit uncomfortable when your arms and legs dangle over the sides - you feel that hard ring.

Great reading float for the pool, easy to carry.

Great float to carry over to the pool to float and read. Turned blue in face blowing up, but once inflated was nice. Will not be deflating and putting in stowage bag to transport as I don't want to have to blow up again. Maybe next time borrow the neighbors mattress inflator.

Complete relaxation

Have just used this whilst in Antigua - perfect for floating around a calm see or pool. It travelling well in the suitcase (approx. 40cm circumference when folded down in travel pouch). It was easy to inflate with approx. 8 regular breathes and about 2/3 minutes. Lots of guests showed interest and wanted to borrow it. Can easily float with approx. 16 stone person without sinking - not sure of heaviest weight it can take. Also bought the 'chair' version which I preferred as I like to sit up. Both excellent though.

Great hammock.

Great hammock. Have had several over many years. Ultra comfy and totally practical especially with a Kindle in waterproof case!!!!! Bliss! Always first thing in my suitcase and take them everywhere abroad. Was glad to see this one looked just like photo with no ugly warnings on the top surface (they're discretely underneath). Also, unlike a different make, which I returned to Amazon very disappointed with it, the valves on this Kelsyus hammock worked with ease.

Not good enough

Floats well, looks OK and is comfortable. Inflation valves are rather trying as they don't have any method of stopping air release between breaths. It's a race against time to get the stopper in before you've lost all the air you got in. I don't find that acceptable with valve designs available and the cost of this item.

Not as good as the last one.

I noticed another review said that they had had one of these chairs before. I also had one (bought about 2 years ago). I finally broke the metal rim trying to fold it and ordered a new one, but this one is really difficult to inflate (the valve is below the surface of the fabric), to stopper regularly pops out and the chair deflates over about an hour.

FLOATS MY BOAT!!!

Absolutely the best lilo/hammock on the market! Keeps u cool in the water and envelopes your body, so so relaxing and comfortable. Be the envy of everyone round the pool, I was!!
