Great game, but…..

I love this game! My only issue is that some letter choices (spinner selection) are written upside down and this can be confusing for kids. Even though the u is underlined, I have had students read it as an n. If this was updated, I’d give 5 stars.

Easy to pull out for a quick learning game to stop the monotony during class.

We have game day every other week after testing, love these because the kids are "playing games" but still learning. Just don't tell them.

Game review

The phonics games are great except for when the consonant letter c is used with words that have an I or e it changes the sound and the students do not know that rule. I wish that the letter c on the spinner had a slash and a letter k next to it. My students who knew the soft c rule did fine. Also, I wish the letters on the spinner faced a better on the spinner. The same direction as the board game. They do have a line under the letter to help determine which one, but I had to turn the board for my students to determine which one was chosen. I also liked how fake words can be used in the game too. Overall, I did like all of the games for children who understand the phonics rules.

Great set of games. I do wish that it had some with more than one spinner so o could use more than one game at a time. Other than that they are great!

I teach second grade and my students love this game!! It has totally helped with sounds and sounding out words. They don’t realize they’re learning and they’re having a good time so it’s just a win-win all the way around great product
