Suitable for swimming, showering
I've had this for a little over a month at this point, and have been very pleased with it. It looks great, and is keeping perfect time. I ended up with this choice after returning two Seiko self powering (forget exactly what they were called, but they were basically the same idea as earlier 'self winding' watches where wrist motion served to wind up a spring, whereas in this case, wrist motion drove a generator that produced electricity to charge up an internal battery. Both those had the identical problem with that system). I chose this Invicta model (as well as the previous two Seiko watches) primarily because they made definitive statements about being suitable for wearing for swimming, and showering, but not for Scuba diving. This in addition to being 'water resistant' to some depth, a totally meaningless statement, but terminology that all watch manufacturers are now using. The watches were analog, with luminous dials / hands. This Invicta model has another very worthwhile feature in the magnifying lens over the date display.

I did a great deal of research into the quality of Invicta watches ...
This was a spontaneous purchases for myself to see if I could pull off a Gold watch. I was impressed by the quality of the watch. Prior to purchasing the watch, I did a great deal of research into the quality of Invicta watches and heard mixed reviews. I am overall impressed with the quality of this watch, especially for the price! The watch is a solid build, the crystal is clear and the cyclops lens is a beautiful touch. I was very satisfied that the gold plating is not as vibrant as the photo make it look which gives the watch a subtle classy appearance, rather than a "In your face" look. And also at the end of the day, its a very nice alternative to a Submariner for the price. I dont know how well this watch will hold up over time, however if you need a good looking gold watch to wear on occasions, this is the watch for you!

Moisture Buildup after 2 weeks of wear
Watch looked and felt great, then after 2 weeks of normal day to day wear moisture built up inside the watch face. Doubt this would have any meaningful pressure resistance. I’ve had more longevity out of $20 Walmart watches than this Invicta. Very disappointed, will not purchase Invicta again.

Hansome watch...ontime delivery as promised
Great looking watch with characteristics of diving time pieces, mostly in looks. Would not recommend using this watch in actual diving conditions as the crown is not a screw down, if it did have one I wouldn't use it for diving anyhow. This watch is extremely accurate as most quartz watches are, however a mechanical action with a sweeping second hand and the added weight would further enhance the outstanding appeal of this black face and gold tone watch. I would certainly pay more money for that one! No issues with the band, it wears very comfortably and greatly enhances the overall look. It also was easy to size, did it myself. The watch is a steal for 90 dollars!

Nice watch for the price
As stated by earlier reviews, the watch I received from Amazon wasn't "exactly" the same as the one pictured. The invicta logo is black, outlined in gold, instead of red. And it has a small invicta logo on the end of the second hand. Other than that, was pretty much identical. Definately a nice watch for the money ($84.99+free shipping). Good weight to it and nice finish. I have already had 2 people ask me if it's a Rolex. The box it comes in is more what you would expect to get with a watch that cost thousands more. It would make a very impressive gift watch.

I prefer a watch that is not so large and heavy. It is very nice looking and appears well made of stainless steel. Haven't had it long enough to give a rating as far as durability but expect it to do real well. I have wore Seiko and Citizen watches for years, this my first Invicta, so will give a more thorough rating later.

A very beautiful watch...just a bit small.
This watch is beautiful....very nice! But, for a 43mm case diameter ???....it looks quite small (not sure if the mm's are accurate). I am roughly 185 lbs with an athletic build and small wrists, this watch looks a bit small on me. If you are of a slight to moderate frame and want a very attractive watch, I think you will appreciate this one.

Nice watch
Very nice gold color and look to it, the Invicta on the side looks very cool. Only thing I would say is, that like other reviews, the eye for the date is not on straight which seems odd, off slighty and I would have thought for Invicta it would have more weight to it. Outside of that, great looking watch for the money !

NOT waterproof
NEW REVIEW: I need to update my previous review due to my finding out that this 200m, DIVER watch (you know, for scuba DIVING) is NOT waterproof.. nowhere near. So, it turns out that 200m does not stand for two-hundred meters of depth, but rather its some ridiculous industry standard that means you can wash the watch under a faucet, but as soon as you put a little water pressure on it, BAM! water goes inside your watch. Im on holiday and went to the beach, the watch went maybe 1 metre underwater, with the adjusting rod well seated, and now its completely fogged up. It still works, and ill probably be able to fix it by opening it (after buying the tool) but its malicious to try to suggest this watch is in any way waterproof, much less a diving watch. Old rating 5/5, new rating 2/5. Old review:I got this watch 2 days ago and cannot stop looking at it. I bought this Pro Diver on a massive sale, and paid only £51 for it, however I did have to pay a small fee to the keycutter guy to remove a couple of links from the wristband - this is an operation that everyone needs to do on every metal-bracelet watch, and not unique to this watch. The watch is absolutely gorgeous. It has a good weight to it, not too bulky and not too small (I have a large wrist), and the gold-colour patina is almost entrancing. I cannot yet attest to its scratch resistance, but I will update my review later if needs be. The latch on the clasp is a bit stiff, and the crown is also a quite stiff (it's a dive watch, it's meant to be), but the watch is otherwise perfect. the adjustment knob is smooth and firm, and for the limited use I've put it through, it's accurate to the second. For the low low price I paid, this is a great little piece of jewelry.

Great Value For Money
Extremely good value. The watch keeps good time, feels a really good quality product and looks classy, similar to a Rolex Submariner but at a fraction of the cost. My only concern is that as a pro diver watch you would expect a screw down crown which I queried with Invicta UK. They assured me that this was the case and that there were seals to ensure that I could swim etc. with the watch on!! Time will tell. The links in the strap were too awkward for me to take out to resize as I did not have the right tools, however a visit to a local jeweller did the trick and it cost me £10 which I thought reasonably. It is because of these latter two factors that I only gave it 4 stars but even taking these into account it was still nearly a 5 star watch. I would certainly recommend it and feel it is a quality product offering great value for money

Not waterproof, broken shortly after purchase.
Update: this watch looks lovely but is not fit for its purpose. I bought this watch as it was waterproof and I was going on holiday. I wore in the pool for about 10 minutes and the display fogged up. Old review: This product looks so much more expensive than it is, I've also had quite a few compliments on how it looks. The gold is a very nice colour and the black is a deep black also, the fluorescent numbers and hands are ideal in the dark, they do take a while to gather the energy to actually glow though. The weight of the watch is the only con; but, it feels like a great quality build and like it will last for a very long time. The links are very easy to remove. Overall review: brilliant product, brilliant price.

Watch looks ok, however bracelet is not top quality sounds like a cheap rolax, date changes as crown is not screw in type as most divers watches. However most disappointing fact is that although i am British, i live in the Philippines and after just over a month the dial showed signs of condensation inside having only ever worm the watch to shower & wash my hands i found this unsatisfactory. I will however add that i have an Invicta submariner that i am very impressed with which is why i purchased my second Invicta watch
