I only purchase humble bee!

I have 2 full suits and 2 of these jackets, and money well spent! stings don't seem to make it through the suit! 10/10 would recommend ????

Good quality

I got this on sale for some reason and got it for $26 when it is usually $99. Very good quality I would expect for $99 and amazing quality for $26.

Couple of issues Revised Review

Chose this jacket because of its good reviews. The material is appropriately heavy and well stitched. I've worn it once and am disappointed about a couple of things. The veil pressed against my nose, and I had to bend the screen to stop that from happening. Hopefully this is a one-time fix. The hat/veil seemed to want to twist on my head. This might be because the hat's U-shaped elastic band was sewn a little off-center. It was cumbersome to fasten the brass zipper of the veil to the jacket. Maybe this gets easier with practice, but I had to use a mirror to make sure everything was closed and the overlying velcro flap concealed possible gaps. Also, I thought a previous reviewer said Humble Bee had updated the brass zipper to nylon. I found the sizing chart confusing. Based on different measurements of my 6 foot, 160 pound body, the chart suggested medium, large, and extra large. I guessed large. Last, per the label the jacket is not supposed to be washed. Couldn't it be washed by hand in cold water? Update--I am upgrading my review to 5 stars because of the outstanding customer service Humble Bee provided in response to the above review. I have not previously encountered such prompt and generous service from a merchant. I was contacted by Humble Bee over a weekend and was provided answers about washing and an offer to replace the jacket with one with a round veil and ventilation. As with the first jacket, the new one was well stitched and the overall workmanship very good. I like the field of view provided by the round veil, and I now understand how the zippers are supposed to align. A positive experience and a quality product! I do suggest customers consider buying the bigger size, if their measurements on the sizing chart give them options of different sizes.

Good design, poor execution.

This jacket is made of good quality materials. However the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. The brass zippers stick and make it nearly impossible to zip on the veil by yourself. Also the veil has no support and hangs down in front of my eyes and the metal screen rubbed my nose raw. EDIT: After returning the Jacket I was contacted by Humble Bee's customer service. They informed me that they had an issue with the production run with which my jacket was affected. They sent me a new jacket with the design changes which completely eliminated any issues I had with the original product. The new plastic zipper is much smoother and easier to use. Also the screen is no longer a problem. I have revised my review from 2 stars to 5 stars to reflect my happiness accordingly.

This review is "on the nose." UPDATE

Like the other reviews, the jacket is very comfortable. Plenty of room so can wear an another layer under it. The sleeves and waist have good elastic for a snug fit. But the square face mask is on the nose---- literally. I can see an issue with the metal zippers instead of the nylon, but the rubbing against the nose with the mesh screen would become irritating in long term use and a perfect target for a vengeful bee. ****UPDATE**** Like the other reviewers, the company contacted me promptly suggesting a curved hood replacement. Came in two business days and can't wait to use it. If you can say anything about this company, their customer service is excellent. Buy their products - Good quality and they stand behind it. Five stars!!!!

Good vision

This unit fits my husband well. He is 6'1" and weighs 187 lb. so extra large fit him well. He noted he needed to either add a cap when he wears it or take up alittle on the hood. Great vision, you can see well all around you.

Awesome bee gear

This jacket is great. The veil stays put, doesn’t spin around on my head. There are no gaps for bees to sneak in through once it’s zipped up. The size chart said I could wear an XXS, but I ordered an XS, and it fits great. The sleeves may have been too short on an xxs.

Poco soddisfacente

Un prodotto mediocre. La giacca è fatta abbastanza bene, la maschera è rifinita pessimamente. Molto pratica la custodia per il trasporto. Collegare la maschera alla giacca con la cerniera non è per niente pratico invece.
