Useful for more than riding!

I've enjoyed using these gloves and the inner pocket for hand warmers. More importantly, I find them useful for winter activities where some hand dexterity is needed.

Disappointed in the fit

I have purchased these riding mittens since they first came out many years ago. They have been my go to winter glove for riding and barn chores. My older gloves were showing their age, so I decided to order new ones. I was disappointed in the sizing as far as the width. I have always ordered a size 10 in Heritage brand gloves. Not only were these extremely tight fitting my hand into them at the main opening, the center mitt section is way to narrow for your middle fingers to be comfortable. I had another individual in my barn have the same experience with another set of Heritage gloves he had just ordered. I'm not sure if the company has changed it's design to offset materials costs, but they are definitely not fitting like they used to. I even ordered a size 11 and to my dismay they were only slightly longer but no noticeable difference in the width.

Good buy

Works well for riding (horses). Love the two pockets. I can wear a thinner pair of liner gloves too which helps with my cold hands.

I ordered the size 8, as recommended by the Q&A (women's large equal size 8) and my 12 year old can wear them, but not me. The mittens themselves are great, I already own a pair. My old version had an inner glove, outer mitten, these only have the mitten shape, which surprised me. The inner glove/out mitten system generally is warmer and I am not sure why the manufacturer changed design.

Warm, well made, take some getting used to.

Very warm and appear to be well made. I had some trouble getting used to riding in "mittens", but when it's really cold outside these are nice. Sizing was very standard.

Stand up to Manitoba’s winters.

These are the warmest riding mittens I have worn and we’ve ridden in -18. I also love the zipper pocket for a warmer. I bought a pair for my friend, a pair for my sister as I was so impressed with them.
