Runs very small

I am 5’5”, 145lbs. I usually am on the larger size of a small and smaller side of a medium. Mediums usually have too much room. I got a medium due to the other comments about it running small and felt it should be perfect, however It fits quite snugly and I can fit only thin hoodie like a running one underneath. I am fine with it since spring is here but this is usually how a small would fit me. A large probably would have been a better purchase but I will stick with it in hopes I lose 10lbs ????

Size is true….for me.

Amazon suggested a large for me. I ordered the Med by reading all the reviews that these runs small. I wanted a jacket to layer and the M was too large. Easily wore sweater and jacket underneath with room to spare. It made me look very boxy and I ordered the small.with the small Im able to wear a thick sweater and Patagonia down sweater and it was nice and snug. I’m glad I listened to my gut and ordered the small. For reference I’m 5’3, 128lbs, 36C chest and 29in waist

Good Rainy Day Coat!

This coat is warm and keeps you dry from a light to heavy rain. The issue I have with it is the hood. The way it fits on me, it partially covers my eyes, so I have trouble walking/seeing where I'm going. I've tried adjusting many different ways, but it seems to always fall in that position on my head. Otherwise, love this coat. I did size up to a Medium to be able to wear sweaters underneath.

The best all-weather jacket ever

I deemed this my best purchase for 2023. Great for all weather in New England. With the primaloft, this coat does great even in winter-like weather but isn't too hot for just rain. No armpit zips and definitely size up, but such a good jacket. My second HH jacket (other is a winter puffer) and I recommend this brand to everyone.

Great rain jacket for cooler weather

I ordered this jacket for a trip to NYC, in December, when I knew it would rain for at least one day of my trip. The jacket kept me warm and dry during a full day of walking around NYC and Brooklyn in the pouring rain and wind. Needless to say, I will be wearing the jacket on many more occasions. The jacket is a great option if you need something a little more substantial, without being heavy. The silhouette of this jacket is also super flattering. The insulation is not super bulky, so I would recommend sizing up to layer underneath. The jacket also has adjustable wrist closures, so you don't get water down the arms (super uncomfortable). There are two cons to the jacket, although not negatives, because it really holds up. The hood is not remove-able, but not sure you'd want to remove it if it's raining. Also, the jacket could use some arm pit zips, for comfort, but it's not too heavy, so that would be a nice-to-have. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket for lots of different climates.

Wayyy too small ????

It was wayyyy too small. ???? I'm usually an XL and even with a thin long sleeve I couldn't even get it close to zipping up. Seemed okay in the shoulders and arms though. I'm super bummed. Not sure if I'll be exchanging or going for a different brand.

Waterproof and Flattering

I needed a raincoat that was warm but lightweight and definitely waterproof. This coat met all three criteria and is well made as well.

VERY impressed!

Very impressed by the value of this jacket. It's a genuine product with beautiful dark grey Helly Hansen logo. This jacket has got recycled insulation and stays very warm. The hood rolls into a small compartment and it's good good pockets. Working as a material designer I'm really picky about the texture of products, but this jacket has got a beautiful sheen and a good texture to it. Would recommend this jacket as I usually don't post reviews meaning this was a good purchase.

Lightweight but keeps you cosy in winter.

I love this jacket, had three Helly Hansen belfast jackets in the past and was looking for another black one. Didnt have the belfast in black in my size but the aiden jacket had my size so purchased one. The aiden is a fantastic jacket and although feels lightweight it holds the heat in better than some heavier jackets I own, its also windproof and waterproof. I then treated myself to a navy belfast jacket so win win for me. ???? Both of these jackets are beautiful on and can be worn everyday or on a night out with casual attire. Delivery was very quick, would reccomend both the seller and both jackets to anybody. They are a bit expensive but the last for years and still look brand new. All in all very happy with my purchases. If you have been looking for a perfect rain/windproof/warm jacket, these wont dissapoint.

Very good

I bought this to mu wife for christmas and she loved it. She find it elegant and warm. Do not expect a big padded jacket but it does the job with the insulation it has.

Lovely coat

This coat is so comfortable to wear and at last I have a coat that actually keeps me dry and warm in the rain, but is not too heavy to wear. Love it .
