Tremendous Tactical Ballcap
Hazard4 makes some quality stuff and this tactical ballcap doesn’t disappoint. FIVE locations you can attach your favorite morale patches to. The side patches even have enough play to help hold sunglasses in place. The only thing I can’t figure out is the clip on the back right side. I have no idea what it’s for. Great ballcap, hoping they release it in OD and FDE soon. Highly recommend this cap.

Hazard 4 is slipping…
I like Hazard 4. I have two of their bags (their camera bag and their discontinued rifle sling bag), multiple pouches, and a tan PMC hat in regular fabric. That tan hat hasn’t let me down since I got it in 2015. I ordered the softshell PMC hat thinking it was an upgrade from the regular one. Dead wrong. The patch areas are smaller, the side patch areas are loose from the rest of the hat (which feels weird) and the velcro somehow feels cheaper. The label is authentic, as is the leather tag sewn into the headband. My unit patch is vertical, about half-one third the size of a standard playing card. Can’t fit it on this hat, which makes for a sad girl. I tested the hat with Comtacs, and they don’t make the stock headband any more uncomfortable than it already is. The loose velcro loop things on the side catch on the headset’s band and can pull it right off your head. The original PMC hat doesn’t have this problem. I like softshell material, but you might want to avoid this one if there’s something else.

Feels good
I only had this for a day but I would most definitely love to use this as a regular shooting hat, materials don't feel too high quality but it still feels nice and wouldn't bother me at all.

Great tactical hat. 2nd one I own. Many years of use and many deployments
Love the material, breathes and wicks moisture perfectly. Don't need velcro on sides so I removed them.

Good hat, I like it.
I bought this solely for the little clip it has, and once I recieved it, I noticed it is removeable/adjustable. It is fastened via hook and loop to the inside part of hats that fold up, I don't know what the technical term is. I was worried the hook and loop wouldnt be able to hold it very well if a strong gust of wind picked up on the hat, but because the hook and loop goes into the fold, it works well. Also, if you don't want to use the clip, you can remove it, or do what I did and just wrap it around the back velcro adjustment for size. Overall, I like the material it is made of, and even with my big head it looks like it fits, and not like some other hats that look like a yamaca.

Favorite ball cap
The material works well in wet conditions. The side velcro is stitched on in a way to that makes it easy to clip on items. Most tactical ball caps stitch the side down on all sides. Since only the front and back are stitched down you can easily stick a pen or chem light into loop behind the velcro on either side.

Good hat just not for me
I happen to enjoy hazard 4 products. Their poncho villa, while a little bulky when stowed, is one of my favorite pieces of gear and thought the hat would go well with it. The fabric and craftsmanship were as expected for hazard 4 but the fit wasn't to my liking. I liked the idea of a tacti-cool hat but didn't like the look of the patches on there. A little different than I thought it would look. Still, I loved the fabric and the idea of it though. It didn't work for me but just by preference and my mis shaped head.

Get down with PMC yah you know me!
So far so good , I've been wearing it for about a month now and it is serving me well. It was quite comfortable right out of the box and placement and size of the Velcro panels is good. The only issue I have is that I like my hats to be a little more shallow, that is so it sits higher on the head but , I still gave 5 stars as that is a personal preference and not a design flaw. Some dudes just like their hat Ridin' low. The short clip is great and removable so if you don't like it? Boom it's gone! I keep it because I kind of like the look of it hanging down. Over all , worth it. Oh and the fabric is quite thin which can be expected given the intent of the design.

Great idea incorporating WPB into a tactical cap. Haven't tried it in wet conditions yet, but fit and feel are good, lots of real estate for patches etc...

Awesome outdoor hat!!!
This hat is awesome, water resistant, enough velcro areas to accompany all your velcro dreams. The side velcro spots are for flashlights apparently, I didn't realize this when I bought it but now that I noticed these I will def be buying a holder to put there and then I can put my thrunite mini flashlight on my hat, or even two of them lol. I almost bought the normal version of this hat but then I seen this version for like 10 more bucks, totally worth it. The little clip strap is removable also if that helps with the decision. This hat will be worn on many outdoor adventures and trips to the range! Colour also came as shown in the pictures (black)
