Super amazing quality

This hansgrohe 04960000 Vernis Square Shower Set is amazing. It is an excellent value for a reasonably low price point. The feel and finish of the chrome is in my opinion at the higher level of fixtures and I really like that. The kit comes pretty much complete and everything is well packaged. The instructions are quite clear and installing was straight forward. The flow pattern of the shower head is very waterfall like and super enjoyable. My family is well pleased with it and we highly recommend it.

hansgrohe quality you would expect

You get, basically a few boxes and a blister pack to complete the set. The blister pack must be a standard that they include with all of their showerheads which is an arm with a guard. It is solid steel with a nice chrome finish. I got this set because I have a shower with no tub, so it was nice to have that option. My original thermostat is a dial that looks more like a doorknob than a handle. An upgrade from that is most welcome. I can do the showerhead, but the thermostat I don't want to attempt, so I called my plumber. So I cannot comment on how easy or difficult this was to install. The quality of all the parts is top-notch. As another reviewer mentioned, you will need a rough-in valve as it does not come in this set. Overall I am very pleased with this set and my new shower looks great. I love the large square rain shower which gives full coverage when standing under it.

hansgrohe 04958000 Vernis Square Shower Set, Chrome

This Hansgrohe Vernis shower set looks great and is made very well. This chrome finish is superb and the rain head makes showering a real treat. Installation is typical and straight forward for a shower valve. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase the iBox universal rough-in box to complete the installation.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fairly inexpensive waterfall shower set from hansgrohe, the classy German maker of plumbing fixtures for kitchen and bath. hansgrohe stands with a few other manufacturers near the top of the value/quality ladder. In other words, they're not the most expensive maker of fixtures, but their fixtures can't be beat functionally in quality. There are more avant gard designs, there are more unique looks, but hansgrohe isn't beaten on quality of valves and finishes or longevity of fixtures. You can spend triple the price of this unit just on a hansgrohe shower head, and it will have a fully finished metal back unlike this set's showerhead with a plastic back. It will also be larger. But it won't really be better. If you like the look of this set and you don't care that the part of the showerhead no one ever looks at is plastic, get this set. It's a stellar set.
