Cute sweatshirt, comfy, but the sizing is off a bit

I ordered the blue sweatshirt and honestly love it. It was a bit shorter than the usual which I expected but the neckline was a bit large, but it was still super cute and comfy. Soft inside, really soft. When I washed it, the length shrunk just a bit, but the overall fit was still good and it was still soft and comfy. So I ordered the pink one. It is longer, even after a few washings, no shrinking at all, and the neck is a much better and expected size. However, the fabric is pilling. Lots of little tufts on the sleeves, cuffs and sides. Anywhere it touches anything, it pills. Still comfy, keeps it shape really nicely, I shave off the pills. Pretty inconsistent between the two, but I do like them.

just the right length

I don't like to be swallowed up by my sweatshirt. This shirt is just right! Close fitting but not tight. It falls right at the waistband of my pants. The sleeves are perfect. The color is pretty and it's soft. It will shrink a little in the wash but not much. If you're looking for something with more bulk at the waist, this is not it.

Don't sweat a Hanes sweat shirt

I live in these hanes sweat shirts. They are inexpensive. Medium is slightly bagging on me when new and they are soft and medium warm. When they eventually stain, shred, or pill on the inside, from multiple washings, I dispose of them and buy more. If they are washed or dried on too hot a temperature they will shrink, esp in length. Their sizing is consistent, even in different colors. They don't bleed colors.

Nice addition to my closet

It’s a bit short for my liking, but perfect if you want a more cropped look. It fits true to size, so if you like your sweaters more loose fitting like me definitely go for a size up. The sleeves were also not as long as other sweaters. Very soft and cozy!

Pills easily

SOFT & COMFORTABLE ONCE I CHOSE THE FIT I PREFER!

When I first got the XL, this sweatshirt fit me nicely, but more form fitting than I wanted. I returned it because it wasn't the looser fit I actually prefer. Now that I have the XXL, I am happier. It has a little more room for a leisurely use. It's particularly soft. I'll be wearing this sweatshirt often! (Bought it in black, but might order other colors in the future. I'd love this sweatshirt if it were offered with a v-neck in lieu of a crew neck, because the v-neck is flattering but, I am certainly not complaining! I'll wear this year round. Black is my favorite color.

Comfortable But Big

This is a soft, comfortable sweatshirt. Unlike other reviewers, I found it to run large. I bought the small and am swimming it it. I’d return it for an XS if that were an option. That said, because it’s so comfortable, I’m keeping it to bum in at home, but I’d be unlikely to leave the house in it. For reference, I’m 5’3” and 102 lbs.

Lack of packaging

The shirt was ok. I’m sure it’ll fit but, it was send in the thin plastic bag from the manufacturer. It wasn’t even put in a parcel envelope. It was unsealed at one end and luckily for me I didn’t see any dirt on it but really, anyone could of taken it out, handled it and resealed it or it could of got soiled. I expected much better from Amazon. Unbelievable.

Fits comfortably, wide fit, soft good quality

I ordered the purple XXL, 5'2" (chubby) and I have finally found a sweatshirt that fits me perfectly. The color is a soft purple, great quality, soft inside and not too hot. I'm going to order another one in a different color and see if I get the same quality and fit.

Great sweatshirt, great price!

Lightweight but warm with soft fleece inside, nice arm length as well. Haven’t washed it yet, but at $10 & change, it’s super affordable & i’m pleased! I’m 5’8”, 130lbs & this is an XL for reference as people in the reviews mentioned they fit small. I do like the length, not cropped but not too long either. Have 2 more on the way!

Not Quite As Expected For the Hanes Brand

This is quite a nice sweatshirt overall, however it's a bit boxy, the sleeves could be a but longer and it's a bit undersized, I.e. the XXL should really fit a size 18 to 20, say, yet I doubt very much that it would comfortably fit someone in that size range and it'd be very tight at best. I'm a size 16 and it just fits me with a bit of room to spare. I see that another reviewer has said this is the best sweatshirt she's ever had - that's either overstating it or she's never had really well!-fitting, accurately sized sweatshirts before! This one in my opinion is just OK and, in fact, mine might now be relegated to being used as loungwear when, in fact, I'd bought it hoping to wear it outside!
