Cute but shrank badly

This was cute for the first wear, but after washing it once it shrank so much that it barely fits

This hoodie is great quality, and I like that it is cropped. It’s fits true to size. One of my go to hoodies now even just to lounge around the house

Soft, with a boxy fit

The sizing seems accurate and the French Terry is soft and of good quality. It’s a light material- not as thin as a t-shirt but also not a thick/warm sweatshirt. It’s good weight for spring or fall. It is, however, different from the product photos. It’s more boxy/loose than the photo, which I definitely prefer for cropped shirts or hoodies anyway. The product photo (which is probably a mock-up) looks more like an athletic knit than French Terry and this also has more of a heathered look. The pocket is different- it’s the same type, but the look, placement, and hemming are not what’s shown. Lastly, the tie at the neck/hood is black, not gray. So basically, it’s a completely different thing, but still a good hoodie. Hopefully my photo will help you see what to expect.

Cropped means cropped

I haven't ordered/bought a cropped top since the 90's. This top comes in a comfortable cotton weave. The hood and pocket sit where they normally would be on a regular length sweatshirt. If you are someone who is use to full length, this top may make you feel like it is too short. If you are short waisted, as I am, it will rest at the top of your beltline. Taller/longer waisted ladies you will be showing belly. I am always an advocate for wear what you like but always dress appropriately. This is not the sweatshirt for my body type but I do know a few young ladies that this is the perfect item to their wardrobe.

Photo is not accurate

The hoodie in the photo is all grey - the hoodie I received is grey with black drawstring. Just something to keep in mind. I actually prefer the black drawstring as it adds a tiny bit of interest. This is very, very cropped. I am only 5'2" and even with high waisted leggings on it shows a bit of skin. it goes down about 3 inches past my boobs. That being said, it's actually really cute. It's boxy and oversized while still being cropped. It won't be a 'wear out of the house' kind of sweatshirt for me, but I will 100% wear this for lounging around the house and feel cute while wearing it.

Basic cropped hoodie. Love the tiny pocket!

I am 5’6” and 123lbs. I normally wear a size small in tops but ordered the medium. It fit mostly as expected for a size too big. The sleeves are slightly too long and the body looks relaxed. The bottom hits right at the navel until the weight of the hood pulls the front upwards and then my navel is exposed. The fabric is acceptably soft, like a well-worn tee. The inside is not fleece so the hoodie works best as loungewear, for the gym, or the warmer months. All-in-all, I like my Hanes cropped hoodie. The mini kangaroo pocket makes me smile at its adorableness every time I see it.

Soft and comfortable - as expected for a loungewear

This Hanes hoodie comes with the comfort of daily wear and after having used it for 3 months for my wife, would say its been a very positive purchase as follows: 1. Size is as intended. It does feel slightly stretchy and feel true to US sizing. 2. Color is also as close to as in picture. 3. Maintenance has been minimal as even after washing it a few times it has not looked any different at all. Overall, happy with this hoodie and would have no reservations in recommending.
