This company needs to be more cullturally responsive.

Follow up to this post. A representative from hand2mind reached out to me. They said they have updated the version and have removed the Indian. The company is sending me a complimentary new edition to the cubes. Kudos to this company for doing the right thing. I was shocked by the inappropriate image on the cube. I was working with a student matching the cubes together and was shocked to see an image of an Indian for the letter i. In today's world an educational company should know better than to put a culturally inappropriate image on a cube. I printed out a more appropriate picture (iguana) . I ordered the blocks for an activity to reinforce letter sound correspondence and building words. The company should be more mindful of the products they are selling. We are teaching children to be culturally responsive, the materials they use should be too.

I love this product for my son. I bought it for my 6yo son who was having trouble with spelling. It gave him an interactive experience with spelling. For the price, I have no complaints.

Using to form cc’d words it’s great , but you will likely need a second set for multi syllable words. Love using for syllabication, but difficult with just 2 of every letter

My grandson loves.

My grandson loves Number Blocks show. So I decided to get these for him to help him see the whole word when we started Kindergarten homeschooling this year. He loves making words with them.

Difficult to take apart, but great tool!

I think this is a great product, however, they are really difficult to take apart. The children definitely could not take half of them apart, and I had to wear latex gloves to get a grip, and still hurt my hands taking them apart. I think they will be okay after some use though. Again, still a great early literacy and fine motor building tool. Thank you!

Buena calidax

Me gustaron mucho, lo unico es que solo trae 2 letras de cada una, y al querer formar varias palabras al mismo tiempo, pues es complicado ya que debes usar diferentes letras y no se pueden trabajar famiilias de palabras.
