Perfect for Heavy Sweaters
I sweat. A LOT. When I workout I need a sweatband that can both absorb a ton of sweat and keep it out of my eyes. Halo makes the best sweatbands on the market for sweaters like me and I am now a lifetime customer. Never change a THING Halo!

Keeps sweet out of your eyes
Did not think this would work, but it does. I sweet a lot and this directs it down by my ears.

Great Solution for Sweaty Situations
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this headband worked. I usually double up and use two traditional absorptive sweat bands to keep sweat out of my eyes when I'm biking, but that can give people literal headaches (from the compression of two bands together) not to mention the hassle of stopping and wringing out the sweatbands when they get saturated. With this headband, it doesn't absorb the sweat, it simply re-directs the sweat to the side of your head, thus keeping your eyes fairly sweat-free. For it to work properly, you must make sure that it is positioned properly just above your brow ridge so that the rubber strip is canted back down toward your ears. This allows the sweat to be easily channeled away from your forehead around to the temporal area and not dripping in your eyes. It works best by itself, but if you wear a cycling helmet it will still be effective. Now I just have to figure out what to do with my sweatband collection. This thing is better than I thought it would be! Great for long rides! Cleaning: After a ride, I just throw it in a glass of water for an hour or two to dissipate the sweat through osmosis and then rinse it a couple of times under the faucet, gently hand-wring it, then let it air dry. Simple, simple!

Keeps Sweat Out of the Eyes.
This thing works like a charm. Keeps sweat out, the rubber Halo seal seals sweat out, and routes out out to the sides and back of your head. It's so lightweight I forget I'm wearing it after a while. The moisture wicking material works great, and it washes and dries so much faster than all of the terry cloth cotton ones I've always used prior to buying this one, and is much more durable. Highly recommended. It is worth the cost.

Works very well. I recommend it without reservation.
Impressive in its effectiveness. I sweat like crazy when I exercise and ordered this because I just started roller derby practice outside (in July). I realized I'd better do something about the sweat rolling straight into my eyes from out of my helmet, and a regular kerchief tied around my head didn't do the trick. This thing works as advertised; it absorbs and diverts sweat so it goes away from your eyes. It's fairly innocuous - it just looks like a small headband, and its comfortable on my head, not tight. I'm ordering another one so I have an extra around for running. You're supposed to rinse it after each use so it can continue to absorb sweat well.

Bandannas are still superior!
I parted ways with Halos a few years ago due to sweat falling onto my cycling lenses while mountain biking. Bandanas became my new headband. I decided to give the Halo 2 a shot due to the price reduction via Amazon. Overall, the band works well under average workouts. If your monitoring yourbheart rate and find yourself in Zones 4 and 5, you’ll find that the sweat builds up before the air can dry, resulting in salt streaked lenses. Washing them every couple rides makes a difference too. All in all, a worth while head band for the price!

does anything stop sweat in Texas summers? These do a commendable job
works pretty well. I ride in Texas, and these things keep the sweat out for only so long. Less than hour for me. When its in the 80-90 degree range with 90 percent humidity, you would need a bath towel wrapped around your head. This works for say an hour before the sweat starts to drip on my face. On a long ride, I can brings a couple of extra sweatbands, and put on a new one at a stop. Having said all this, I am not aware of something that does much better. I bought one, and then bought two more, and they work for me. Plus they are thin, so fit well under my helmet

Good at redirecting sweat
I have had several Halo Headbands over the years. No real issues with them, the "gutter" strip does degrade over time, especially if left to dry out in the back of a car! I am not convinced they are as well made now as they were (thinner material?) but they still are sweat absorbent and do keep most of the sweat out of your eyes on a hard session on a static cycle trainer.

Extremely effective
I've tried other sweatbands for cycling. They just get soaked and water gets into my eyes. The Halo headband has a small rubber strip on the inside that is extremely effective in diverting the sweat down the sides of my face and never into my eyes. Pretty darn durable too. And they come in many colours. A simple but effective solution to keeping sweat out of your eyes.

Makes you sweat, doesn't absorb it
It doesn't absorb sweat, so I'm not sure that it has any use...
