Mostly Good But More Size Options For More Accurate Fit Would Be Better!

I'm a fairly average 5'8" tall man and wear a 8.5 or 9 shoe depending on the brand and while I really like these socks because they stay up nicely and have a decent thickness they are definitely a little large to be considered a one size fits all sock. I have to fold them over at the top about 2 inches or they will go over my knees! But I'd rather they be a little large like this than too short! And as nice as they are the last several pairs I've owned wore through at the heel a little faster than I think they should have -- but I haven't found a better brand yet...

Great seller & great fitting quallity Product!

This brand of mens dress socks I purchased from this "Try Before You Buy" seller, along with another three pairs that I purchased from them, after receiving & trying the 1st three pairs. They actually fit me very comfortably! I have fairly large calf leg muscles which makes all other brand and size difficult to either get over my muscle or would slide down after just a couple hours of wearing them.

Gold Toe: Not Dead After All?

You know, Gold Toe has gotten a bad reputation for its loss of quality after being bought by Gildan, who I’m already not a fan of. They were the premier Great American Sock Brand™️, only to fall from grace after outsourcing. I also had a bad experience with a pack of Metropolitans—my favorite and a men’s essential—in 2019, which is why I’ve actively sought Gold Toes on eBay and Poshmark *no newer* than 2017. There’s a MASSIVE decline in quality for those which, from reading the reviews, seemed to have tainted all of their socks. But I made an exception for these because I really liked the look of the pindot pairs. I’m glad I bought these. I can’t speak for other reviews, but I wash all of my best clothes inside out to prevent the inevitable pilling. A 5’10”, 195 lb. man with a 32” inseam, these came up mid-kneecap, only to shrink to the proper over-the-calf length after washing (inside out, as I’ve said). I noticed little to no fading, and the elasticity is as firm as and supportive as I could ask for. As a sock enthusiast, I still have my skepticism about the Gold Toe label in its current state (Gildan even outsourced the online store to Amazon, for Christ’s sake…). But these fashion socks have given me an open mind. **Nota Bene: I gave four stars for longevity, as only time will tell.

The softest socks

I love these socks they are amazingly comfortable and soft especially the pin dot dress socks they are the most comfortable and softest sock I’ve ever worn I don’t think any other sock could compare I also love the sock with the diamonds on the side those are super soft and comfortable too I would definitely recommend these

Better than other brands

Gold toe fits over the calf and STAYS there. I have tried some of the other brands and they go up over the calf but then droop to lower calf level. They are soft enough to wear all day. Best yet is that they fit well and when you take them off, they easily slip off the heel (so many over calf socks become very difficult to get off the foot). One thing that is really strange about the Gold Toe is that the blue version of the socks is less expensive than the black version. Does black dye cost more? So just buy the navy version.

Super comfortable

As someone with big legs, I love these to death. They don't give me an uncomfortable death grip on my mind calf and they last longer because the elastic doesn't stretch as much. At least when the #_!@#ing dog doesn't eat them in half. So they're delicious to dogs too, if that's a plus for you.
