Great brand! Awesome pants!!

This is definitely a skinny fit. I was on the fence when I saw other reviewers saying that this was a slim fit. I think they’re thinking of skinny TAPERED fit pants, because these are absolutely skinny cut, just not skin tight at the ankle. I’m not sure why someone would even want dress pants that were that tight at the ankle, that would look absurd (in my opinion, of course). These have a good weight and good construction. The only real complaint I could see someone having is that the rear seam would probably give someone with a bigger butt a wedgie, it’s not a problem for me but it is very tight on the posterior. I love the pattern and can’t believe how inexpensive they were. They are every bit as nice as the other slacks in my closet that were priced around $90. I’m sure the reason they are so much cheaper is because of the fabric, but honestly I’ve gotten to where I want stretch in my pants more than knowing they are 100% wool, because from looking at them you can’t even tell the difference. This is I think my 4th pair of pants from goodthreads, and I’ve purchased many more various clothing items from them, and so far I haven’t been disappointed at all. In fact, my favorite chinos are from this brand. It’s crazy that I can get dress pants pre hemmed in exactly my size for such a small amount of money! Also the fact that these are MACHINE WASHABLE AND CAN BE PUT IN THE DRYER are huge high points. It’s very annoying to have to make trips to the dry cleaner for slacks, and much more expensive than washing at home. I can’t yet say how well they breath in the warmer months, but they aren’t lined or anything and are very similar to chino weight fabric. other than the plaid design I think the biggest difference is these have a crease down the front. These could easily be worn casually or in the workplace. I probably wouldn’t wear plaid pants to a formal gathering but that’s just me. the pattern and fit of these are both very dignified. Highly recommended!!

Nice pants , go up a size or two tho

I read comments before purchasing , overall I’m happy with these pants there comfortable and nice , they are a little warm them usual pants but it’s not big deal , as far as sizing goes I normally wear a waist size of 34 however due to comments saying that they run a bit small I went with a size 36 and they fit perfectly

I really like these pants - as for fitting - we all are built differently so it is always tough to make a definite statement on size and fit. These fit me personally perfectly at 150lbs and 5'8" - width and length. I like the cloth they are a bit warmer than other pants the same thickness. The only draw back they are not super durable. The bottom edge of the pant legs (both sides) is already coming apart, after a couple of months. No problem washing them in the machine and drying them on low/delicate setting.

Not Exactly “Black” with pinstripes

The fit is pretty good and the pants feel like solid material, but the color is pretty off on the ones I got. They have an odd slightly greenish hue to them, making them look more navy in color than black (pictured next to one of my black blazers, the difference really stands out)

Maaaaaaan this is one of my absolute favorite pants in rotation, to wear to work! The material is sturdy and durable! Well-crafted and fits perfectly! Want a nice classic chic fit?!? These are the pants for you!

Good for the price but not that great

At this price point, I don't think you'll find better pants. However, I'd much rather spend $40 on a pair of pants from a Banana Republic/J. Crew, etc. outlet store which are going to be way better. Usually, 29x32 would be a perfect size for me, but I think these run a little small and they're kind of high waisted. Because of this, the 29x32 pants pressed into my stomach while seated, causing discomfort. This is why I got the 30x32 instead, which work great, but I wish they were a little more snug. Also, I have the black pants, and they seem to attract lint, which is really bad for black pants. It makes them look kind of dumb and not very black and not very sharp. Bottomline: Not bad for the price but I'd rather pay the extra money for a better pair of pants.

Not flat fronted

The illustrations show flat fronted trousers but the ones I received had a crease down centre front and back. I sent them straight back.

Slightly "skinnier" fit

Nice trousers for a very nice price … these are more of a "skinny" fit than others in this brand I have tried, slimmer cut round the bum & thighs … but not cling tight. Nice to have some decent leg lengths, not everyone stops at 30 as short!! Wait to see if the stay wrinkle free......

I bought these because they were - according to the name and description- ‘skinny fit’. Not a hope. Not even comfort fit. Almost flared, in fact.

Nice pair of Chino's - Tight around bum at first.

Not too bad! Fits perfect if you don't have a big bum. The fabric gives eventually. Should be better after a couple of washes and some wear & tear.

Terrible cut and length

Not sure how these can be marketed as skinny. Not skinny at all. Length also 2inches too long. I have been buying 30inch leg trousers for 15 years and this is the only pair which has been too long.
