Strange fit and unflattering seam

I ordered this dress to wear on a recent cruise vacation. The blue floral pattern is nice and I like the fabric itself. The fit is a little off. I ordered the XXL and didn't have high hopes because I usually wear a US 20. This actually fit too big in the straps/top area and a perfect fit in the mid area which I would never have expected because it is almost always too small! The only thing I did not like about this dress, and the reason I will probably not wear it again is the lower hip seam. I cannot figure out the reason for that seam as it certainly doesn't add to the design of the piece. I will be honest and say that had I seen that seam I probably would not have ordered this dress. It is awkward and really enhances you backside and the belly area which I really don't need any help with. I suppose if you are a thinner woman, than this wouldn't be an issue, but for the big ladies, this dress will not be flattering,

Very cute

Wish it were summer! I can't wear this yet, but I will once it gets warm. I only gave the dress three stars though because the fabric is pretty thin. It's pretty consistent with other dresses I've ordered on Amazon like this, but boy, I wish the fabric was a little higher quality. You better be armed with a well-working iron, too. This thing came wrinkled like you wouldn't believe and because of the fabric quality, will wrinkle easily. But, it is very cute and looks just like the photo. It's worth it if you are looking for a cute, casual summer dress! ~Amy

Flattering dress and sizing down

I can't wait to wear this Goodtreads Women's fluid Twill Vacation Ruffle Midi Dress in my coming vacation. It's so Pretty! I am 5'2" and normally wear a small size. I guessed xs size which might fit me better based on the size chart. I am so happy i made this decision which fits me perfectly. The material is soft, comfortable and has little weight which I can tell it should be made of good fabric. I like the irregular design of the bottom of the dress in which the front part is shorter than the back, making it look cute and elegant. And it's also short-figure friendly because the style does not make you look shorter than you actually are when wearing this long dress. It's thoughtfully designed that there are pockets. As for the shoulder straps, although it's elastic, it's slightly loose to me. It would be nice if there are hanger straps/loop on the inner dress. Overall, I really like this midi dress and highly recommend it!

I just don't know about this one.

On first impression I really like this dress but upon trying it on I am just not so sure. First, I am 5' 5" 140lbs with a 36 DD chest. I got the medium. Sizing seemed to be mostly on point but the shoulder straps are way too long. So it just sits weirdly on my chest. The clip above the zipper came loose before I had even tried it on, so that was disappointing. Overall, this just doesn't look that great on my V shaped body. I washed this on delicate and hung to dry and let me tell you, this is not a "easy" dress to own. It is so wrinkled that I will have to steam it every time I wash it. Not great for any busy woman who needs something with less maintenance. Overall, I just was not super impressed with this dress, there are so many better options out there.

Great mom dress!

Definitely size down- this brand runs huge. But this is a great mom dress! Pajama soft feel and pockets to boot. Great length too.

Hard to review because ordered a XL and got a M

So I ordered an XL and got a M. Clicked on the link I ordered from and it says I ordered a M but the size selected on said link is still Xl so I think their inventory or listing may be wrong. Needless to say it’s hard for me to review this. I will say it appears to be well made. It’s a very lightweight fabric. I suspect this is a size down situation. I am usually an XL in bottoms and XXL in tops. With dresses this tends to mean either size fits but the xl may be too snug in areas and the XXL may be loose in areas). I actually could get this Medium on and it fit, it just wasn’t flattering. I didn’t even look at the size until after I saw how unflattering it was, I thought I maybe just got a L. The fact that I could fit the M means it’s large for a Medium.

Shoulder straps are long, and impossible to lay flat/make look good...

I've 5'2", normally a size 6 above the waist, more of a size 8 or 10 below the waist thanks to my hips and thighs... I was surprised the size guide led me to a small, but overall that's a good fit on me... it hugs my middle, but not in a way that makes me wish I was wearing shapewear, just in a way I noticed. For me, the downfall is the straps -- they are too long, so they hang awkwardly, and the frill on them is a thousand and one wrinkles that I can't seem to do anything with, and even if I start with them almost laying flat, they just don't stay that way. The dress is also wrinkled like crazy - and given I tend to pick up things with hopes they'll double as something I can travel with, this is definitely a don't take on a trip with me item.

Qualité médiocre

Robe arrivée froissée , tissu de couleur jaune pâle, de qualité moyenne. Sinon les bretelles sont élastiques et la robe est légère. Je la retourne car les tissus qui se froissent comme ça c’est galère pour le repassage .
