so comfortable

soft wide straps and doesn't choke, can tell he is more comfortable in this harness than the others I have tried. the fit is accurate according to the size guide, and is easier than most to get over his head. the clasp seems heavy/oversized for such a comfort-conscious lightweight harness, but luckily it doesn't hit right under his armpit like most clasps seem to do on him. it has held the little wild-child corgi safely so far (as long as he is pulling away from me), but if I pull him facing me I am thinking it would come off right over his head with clasp still intact - have learned the hard way that this is not a smart maneuver with any harness!

This is perfect for my Maltese!

This harness doesn't choke my pup (she chokes easily), is easy as pie to put on and take off, fits securely, is sturdy but comfortable... I got the small and it's perfect for my 6 lb. Maltese, but can be adjusted for a larger small dog. The old harness was also a Gooby, and we liked it and used it for years, but this one is even better.

Great for small dogs

My small dog pulls and this soft harness givers her mobility without damaging her vulnerable trachea or restricting her limb movement. I tried many harnesses and found the v-neck or y-neck shapes did not leave enough room in the neck area, I also tried step-in harnesses that did not obstruct the trachea yet chafed her legs or were made of materials that that did not have softness or give. I have been using this harness for two months with no issues.

My dog is that weird in between harness size. I had bought and returned probably 20 harnesses because I couldn’t find one that fit him around his next and wasn’t up is armpits. This one is great I love it and he does too. He’s a 6 lb chihuahua

All day wear, but not for quick breaks

Nice fit, no rubbing, but very akward to put on. Over head, one leg through, then buckle around. Fine for an all day thing, but not for quick potty break.

Great quality!

Love the lambskin soft straps and how they stay nice and soft after numerous washings. Plus the straps stay nice and flat and don't curl like other Gooby Active X Head-in harnesses. Definitely worth the extra bucks!

Sizing specified in photo is different than sizing received.

I bought this and the sizing stated on the photos was not correct. The medium I received is 16-19 inches in the chest and 15-18 inches in the neck. I was hoping it would be 11 inches in the neck as it says in the photo. So I'm returning this and hoping to find a better one to fit my pup.

Ok. My pup didn’t like putting her head through. She pulls a lot and being a puppy, the strap has held so far, but made me nervous it could tear because of the fabric. Just not for us, ok product.

Gooby X Harness

The media could not be loaded. The X harness is brilliant design. The harness wraps around the chest & shoulders rather than his neck. Conceptually, it should not choke when he pulls on the leash. Yet to see how effective it is during walks. My only other concern will be the durability of the material which seems foamy & stretchable. It may loosen over time.
