Broke on first use - disaster ensued

Let this be a cautionary tale against purchasing this sham of a toilet seat. It's not for the faint of heart - you have been warned. This seat is so cheaply made I cannot state enough bad about it. The biggest single problem is that the brackets used to attach the seat are so woefully inadequate, it broke on the first use. My first indication it was junk was during installation. The brackets have very thin edges to hold the bolts, and the bolts have very narrow heads. Further, the bracket plastic is rather soft. This means that while trying to make it tight enough to stay put and not slide around, the bolts simply squeezed between the bracket edges spreading the brackets apart - there was not enough room for additional washers big enough to have made any difference. This leaves the seat held in place by mere molecules and fickle spirits. I have successfully installed plenty of toilet seats over the years and am confident it was installed as well as it possibly could be. The very first use after installing was to urgently evacuate spicy food blowback. Moments after planting on the seat to release the kracken, the seat shifted and broke off the toilet. It was too late to stop the high-pressure geyser of liquid disgusting as the seat brackets gave way. The seat suddenly and immediately shifted sideways off the edges of the toilet rim, dropping me partially into the bowl, as I clung to the nearby sink to avoid contact with the war crime I was still creating beneath me. I failed. Due to the angle I was suddenly at, I could feel volatile splatters escaping the bowl onto my back and legs. The area surrounding the toilet, including myself, was left slippery and speckled with Montezuma's revenge. Extracting me took the assistance of my wife (who can no longer look my in the eye), clever leverage, and solemn resignation to the monumental cleanup and sanitation task before me. It took a shower, floor scrub, wall scrub, toilet cleaner, laundering towels and bath mats, partial disassembly of the toilet itself, an exorcism, and a bushel of burning sage to fully cleanse the demons from the room. Do not recommend.

Better than a hard seat.

This is just a little better than a hard seat. The foam inside is not very dense. I’m 120 lbs and it bottoms out and feels almost like you’re sitting on a hard toilet seat.

Cushioned toilet seat

Love my new comfy seat!

With terrible sciatic and back pain, this cushioned toilet seat is a lot more comfortable. The Champaign color is pretty too instead of plain old white. The price was decent for the quality. The only thing I don't care for much is that it's kinda hard cleaning along the seams, especially if there are little boys in the house still practicing their aim lol. It says not to use cleaners cause it breaks down the vinyl, which I learned with my last seat. Cleaners will make it rigid over time which leads it to eventually crack. But it took about a year for the crack to appear, and for the fairy low cost, I will still use the cleaner and just replace it more often because plain water just won't cut it in my opinion. I need to feel like it's actually getting cleaned so I'll take my chances for the cracking. Other than that, I would recommend this nice, comfortable and economical product to others, especially those on a budget! ????

Toilet seat has a cut in it. Was not caused during shipping or opening box.

The seat is very comfortable and is exactly as pictured. If I had not needed it immediately I would have returned it as it has a slice in the seat. The slice is at the front of the actual seat portion. It was not caused during shipping as the box was in perfect condition. It was not caused while opening the box as the area where the seat was sliced was protected by the box flap and could not have been damaged while opening the box without cutting through the tape and the flap, which I did not.

Not very durable. Only had a month before the cushion started collapsing.
