Photolive not working
Knocking off a star as Photolive does not work as advertised. Everything else is super! Moving radar, traffic, you can view individual traffic cameras. I've worked with Garmin support and will have to try again. The app and firmware is at the latest. I've gone on trips over 500 miles and can select individual traffic cams ahead of me but it does not work automatically as per the manual. Screen always says "no traffic cameras found". According to the manual: Viewing photoLive Traffic Cameras on the Map The photoLive map tool shows traffic cameras from the road ahead of you. From the map, select Map tools menu > photoLive. The device shows the live image from the nearest traffic camera on the road ahead, along with the distance to the camera. When you pass the camera, the device loads the live image of the next camera on the road. If no cameras are found for the road, select Find Cameras to view or save nearby traffic cameras (optional).

Good once it is set up
My last Garmin died after two years. I had it connected to an android phone which made it so much easier to search for addresses to set as a destination. But that one failed recently, so I got this one due to it being the closest thing to the one I had. I was not able to connect the new one to the drive app on my android phone. I could connect via bluetooth, but for some reason, the drive app would not find it. I consider myself above average technically. Fortunately I have two phones, and I was able to quickly connect an iPhone to it and now it works as expected. I like the display of the gamins better than any of the phone apps that I have used. Although this Garmin has traffic, I'm not sure it is as accurate as some of the phone apps. I find it very easy to save a place once you get to it.. but it isn't intuitive on how to do it at first, but once you learn how, it is a snap. I just wish I could have transferred all of my saved places from my prior device. oh well. The wifi upgrade is a huge improvement. I just plugged the GPS into a USB brick and did the upgrade which took about an hour or less. Hopefully this one will last more than a couple years of light use that the last one got. I still have the old one, but it overheated last week and would not turn on. After a couple of hours to cool down, it would come back on, but I can't use that. I need something to rely on. And I live in New England and it overheated in February.. and I do not keep my vehicle very warm .. oh well.. Bottom line, after setup and connected to phone it is great.

Beyond expectations
this was the perfect solution for my BMW which has the rear camera, but no GPS. Even if I had paid the dealer a ton of money to install GPS, it wouldn't be as fantastic as the Garmin. I installed it myself in minutes, and keep it plugged in to the cig lighter. The cord also includes a UBS port for phone charging. The map, options, and all features are so easy to read while driving. The kit comes with the stick-up attachment, which mounts very well, and easy to adjust the angle. Fantastic product.

Garmin does NOT include a printed User’s Manual in the box when you purchase this new item.
I need to rant. I purchased this item on November 2022, and have not had occasion to use it very much since that time. Today, I decided I needed to brush up on it, to find my way somewhere unfamiliar. I am not a tech genius, who automatically, intuitively, just somehow KNOWS how to operate every new electronic device I pick up. (Nor do I have access to a printer.) So I went digging for my USER’S MANUAL to figure out what I needed to do - that I was SURE MUST have been in the box with the NEW GPS. Could not find it anywhere. So I contacted Garmin online to ask them to send me a printed User’s Manual, thinking that I had obviously misplaced mine that “must have come with it in the box”. But I was told that Garmin no longer provides a printed User’s Manual with their products - AT ALL. Not even upon request. They simply won’t provide one. You must go find it online and print it out for yourself, if you want one. We’re not talking about a just couple of pages. Now, these must be people who have never experienced a prolonged power outage, or who assume that one ALWAYS has access to a printer, or a computer while on-the-go in an unfamiliar place, to have to go searching for a USER’S MANUAL on some stranger’s computer in a pinch, or on the road, lost somewhere, no access to a computer, car broken down, dead battery…any number of scenarios where one would LOVE to have a PRINTED hardcopy. Wouldn’t a PRINTED User’s Manual be an obvious necessity for ANY unfamiliar new electronic device? ESPECIALLY a product intended for travel use away from home? The most BASIC assistance one might expect, to come WITH a brand new product purchased in its original box?? Their customer service on their website was less than helpful, and refused to send me a printed Owner’s Manual. It’s up to me to get one - on my own. I am honestly outraged by this lack of service. It may be a great product; but what good is it, if you can’t figure out how to USE IT, just from some inborn psychic ability? Can you tell I’m not pleased with their lack of service? Now, I am not a stranger to electronic devices; I learned to use them as they were in their infancy, just coming onto the business scene; but I wasn’t born with a smart phone in my hands, either. I need a little guidance now and then. But can you expect it from GARMIN? NOPE. You’re on your own. NOT at all happy with Garmin, as a company. I have owned several Garmin devices in the past, and had been pleased enough to buy a new one - UNTIL NOW. NO MORE.

Excellent GPS with nice features
I upgraded my 10+ year old GPS to this newest model. It's large enough to see and touch easily in the car and a bright clear display. This is really nice when it is coupled to my car media system and my cell phone via bluetooth. This integrates it into the car system and connects to real time data and streaming from the Internet. When you are through using it for the day, be sure to totally power it down by holding the power button on the rear of the unit down for several seconds until you see a prompt on the screen to shut it down. Otherwise, the unit may just be in standby mode which allows quick resumption of your trip after a stop.

Glad I did not return
It’s not Google maps which I love. It’s not as smart. I’m still learning it so it may be me. But it’s easy to see and I x m getting more familiar and I like it. I didn’t trust it but it got me where I needed to be on time.

Gorgeous landscape screen
I purchased the 76 but found the screen too big. I returned it and Amazon did not have 66 at that time for quick delivery at a competitive price. I therefore purchased 66 from another source. This is therefore a review on 6" The 66 is a 6" screen. Due to its small bezel, the physical size only marginally larger than my previous Drive5 I have mounted in in coffee cup holder with Goose neck. The coffee cup holder fits in an empty space on the right of previous generation RAV4 (2016). See the image. What I like 1) Gorgeous landscape screen. 2) Familiar navigation. Ample timely instructions on upcoming turns and which lane to move to. 3) I would expect out of city driving to be as accurate as the previous Garmin which uses Here Maps 4) This version of Garmin allows choice of clutter-free screen If I need gas station I will state " OK GARMIN Take me to Nearest PetroCanada" It is accurate. I do not want to see it on the screen all the time. 5) One can choose the audio sound to come from the car speakers on Garmin. I choose Garmin and the car speakers are for my radio and phone calls. It is possible not to use the smartphone and app but my research shows that GPS signals will be quicker with the app. Traffic information comes from the FM receiver in the power cable. I do not know whether the phone connections improves traffic information What I do not like 1) Maps in the city are more up to date with Google and Waze. 2) Traffic information is better on Google Maps and colour coded I have no need for Alexa and find it a nuisance. I keep my smartphone in a cupholder. For city driving in dense areas, I will use Google maps but use view the View Maps on Garmin My WISH I would like a simple way of changing navigation from using highway or no highway. My needs change with where I am going and how alert I am feeling. (I am 80 years old)

Used
I recieved the gps and it was used. It took several attempts to get past the first screen. I managed to get it working and decided not to send back. Aside from being used, it works well.

WiFi Issues
I've had this for about two weeks. and It is a nice unit. However, I have not been able to join this to WiFi. Open WiFi, WPA, WPA2 and even MAC Authentication will not work. My Garmin Drive Assist 51 connects to all of these. My professional employment is installing enterprise WIFI so I know its not me. This is basic setup. I'm going to send it back for a replacement.
