Matte Metallic Graphite shows smoke lenses, you'll get brown- every time! Also- broke after a week!

I ordered the Matte Metallic Graphite and it shows the lenses as a grey smoke color. I received an ugly brown color. So exchanged them, got the same thing. Exchanged them again, got the same thing! Three times in a row they sent they brown ones. So I reached out to Gargoyle (Aka Foster Grant) hoping they could remedy the situation. They call it a third party vendor and shrugged it off saying not their problem. I said these are sold/ shipped BY Amazon. Meaning Gargoyle/ Foster Grant sent them the glasses and they listed them, it's not like I bought this from some random seller. So the Gargoyle rep just shrugged the responsibility off again and offered no resolution just like Amazon. They also claim they don't even make the color pattern that's advertised in this listing. SO that problem never got fixed. Just know if you buy Gargoyle sunglasses on Amazon, they're not gonna honor their amazing warranty or care about you because they don't see you as one of their customers. That seems pretty shady. All of that aside I figured if I'm stuck with them I may as well go ahead and test them so I can review them. I tried them on and they don't fit so well on my average sized male head. I don't have a huge head but they're still kinda snug. I just don't like the fit at all. Still- I wore them for a week and after the like 7th day, the hinge on one side snapped off and broke! These things look and are cheap. Not thrilled at all for what they charge! I've had $20 sunglasses that are better quality. After they broke I didn't even bother contacting them, they made it clear they don't care about Amazon orders. So you've been warned, these are overpriced junk that should be more like $10 sunglasses. Nothing special at all!

Love Gargoyle glasses!

We spend a good deal of the year at a high altitude where the sun is fierce and you HAVE to wear glasses outdoors. So I am a bit of a snob about glasses, and I have 6 pairs of Gargoyle brand sunnies in regular circulation between my husband and I. We've bought several pairs of protective eyewear from this brand, so I was excited to try another pair. I love Gargoyle's packaging- strong, sturdy box and a sturdy, attractive case you'll actually use. These are a wraparound style and I feel like they really do a good job blocking the bright light around the sides. Awesome for driving and I found myself not squinting nearly as much even driving on a super bright sunny day with snow on the ground. They are mens' glasses but I wear them too. They are affordable and you get a sturdy frame that will hold up to a lot of abuse. 5 stars!

Gargoyles are noted for their high quality lenses and durable frames, they’ve been around since 1979. These Gargoyles Men’s Squall Wrap are sporty with a fully-sealed wraparound. The lenses come in grays or brown, I have brown. Four of the models are non-polarized, one is polarized, I have the non-polarized. It’s a very clear view, the lenses have a light, not dark tint so give a natural focus. The non-polarized lenses work really well with the car heads-up display and other electronic displays. They are also great in bright sun, usually I need polarized for intense sun glare - not with these. Solid warranty too - they come with a 50%-off-next-pair warranty no matter how or when they get destroyed. ** Gargoyles also offers a Bragg model on Amazon, another really nice option - polarized or non-polarized.

This company is serious

I didn't know what to expect from $95 sunglasses, but I can tell you that this company isn't here to play games. Every single little thing about the glasses, the storage case, and even the packaging is just downright impressive. I truly believe that this company has produced an item worthy of the price tag, and they look and feek incredible. They seem to be fairly strong and resilient as well. I would definitely recommend this item, especially if it's for a gift. I am definitely impressed with these sunglasses.

Daily Drivers: A Gargoyles Men's Squall Wrap Sunglasses Review

The Gargoyles men's Squall wrap sunglasses, with the case and cloth made in China and the frame in Taiwan, offer UVA and UVB protection. They cast a yellowish tint without polarization on the view. The lenses protect the eyes from UV damage and increase contrast for a better view of the road. These sunglasses fit snuggly on my head without feeling tight, and the rubber nose grips keep the lenses from sliding down my nose. The arms snap into an open or closed position and swing freely in between. The included case and cloth assist with protecting the glasses when not in use. If your sunglasses are damaged and not covered by the warranty, Gargoyles will attempt to keep you wearing their sunglasses. Just send them the sunglasses with proof of purchase to receive 50% off a new pair. The Gargoyles men's Squall wrap sunglasses are beneficial for driving. There are comparable sunglasses on the market with more economical pricing that may work just as well. However, if you are a loyal Gargoyles glasses fan, these are a good pair of sunglasses to consider. ► PROS: A “Do The Right Thing” warranty 2-year limited warranty ► CONS: More economical options on the market
