Sturdy, thick, extra long

I LOVE this product. I have been doing yoga for years, and I really enjoy this mat. The thickness is good, and provides an opportunity for me feet and body to be cushioned. Also, the length is fantastic. I'm 5ft 8in, so having a longer mat, means my body doesnt hang off the edges of the mat. Did I mention purple is my favorite color? Price was great also, shipping as well.

Other mats slide or don’t provide traction against skin but this one is perfect. Excellent for the price.

Gaiam Essentials Yoga Mats can't be beat!

This is the third Yoga mat I bought, and this one can't be beat! It is non-slip, but not tacky, and even tho its not the cushioniest, it is very comfortable and better than a thicker one I bought previously.

Good starter yoga mat

Very well made mat for the price! I had a thin one I picked up from Winners previously that came with a yoga DVD, but found it didn't offer much padding and would hurt my knees and wrist. This one is thick enough that my knees don't hurt, and doesn't slide around. I just started doing yoga (for mental health during covid) so I'm not spending a long period of time on the mat, but for 30 minute stretching sessions, this works great. I also like the carrier it comes with, very basic but keeps the mat nicely rolled up when not in use.

So good I purchased again

Purchased the purple one about a year ago and decided to purchase another for my partner since mine has lasted me so long. No wear and tear at all, still grippy. Did have a slight smell upon first time unrolling it but it went away after letting it air out for a couple hours. Definitely recommend this mat, great value for money.
