Almost perfect

I really love the concept of the kneeling chair, it provides the most comfortable position for my back. There are two drawbacks to this chair: 1) you have to unscrew pieces in order to make adjustments (or get it right the first time and never change!), and 2) the padding really isn't thick enough for extended desk work, I eventually have to switch back to a regular chair, but I think if the padding were thicker the kneeling chair would be my only desk chair.

Not Easily Adjustable

I love the concept of a kneeling chair and in a lot of ways this did what it was supposed to do! My biggest complaint is that is is really hard to adjust (have to unscrew and rescrew) and there arent a lot of options for adjustment in the first place. In addition, I felt like the padding was not good for more than about 40 minutes max. Also my casters never worked well, so I really can't move around much in this chair

Not the best

I wanted a kneeling chair that I could use for a few months and didn't want to spend a lot of money. Now, the foam on the seat has shifted downward so that I can sometimes feel the edge of the wood on the pad where you put your butt. Also, the wheels are very sticky, and it does not roll easily. I have a better one at home that I now appreciate much more. If you want to use this regularly for years, find a different kneeling chair. THey all look the same, but they are not.

Relieved back pain

Bought this for my wife. She works from home. She has had various chairs and even a large yoga ball to sit on. All became uncomfortable in a short period of time. This chair she loves ! Says her back pain is practically non existent

the stop tabs on the rollers don't stay up....which inhibits movement. end caps pop off. don't waste your $$

Doesn’t go high enough for a regular size desk!

Comfortable alternative office chair, a few vague assembly instructions

I remember seeing one of these at a friend’s house many years ago and am glad to see they are still around. This is a comfortable way to change up how you sit at your desk. It will also help you resist the urge to slouch or lean forward too much, which is a nice bonus. The only downside for some people may be that it does not have any arms, so you’ll just need to rest your arms on your desk. There’s a few quirks with assembly, but even after figuring them out I was able to assemble the chair in about 20 minutes. In standard self-assembly fashion there is a critical detail to notice in the very first step. You have to make sure the “fins” are facing up on the large main piece that will house the rear casters. It’s an easy detail to miss. Another quirk is that the bar in the first step (labeled 7, see my photo) can actually be slid through 3 different sets of holes. This is not shown in the instructions so it’s unclear which set of holes to use. I just used the middle hole (when in doubt, always choose the middle!). It seems like these holes allow you to change the angle of the knee rest, but again, this isn’t explained anywhere. Luckily this bar can easily be removed by unscrewing one screw after assembly so you can always adjust it later if needed. The chair comes with 2 regular caster wheels and 2 locking ones. There’s no mention in the directions as to where the locking ones go so I just put them on the front of the chair figuring that’s where they would be easily accessible while sitting. From what I’ve found there really isn’t a need to lock the wheels, but you might find a benefit from them depending on your floor surface. The chair has a nifty adjustment for the seat height that consists of a rotating bar with threads on both ends. Turning this bar drives the threaded pieces above and below it in opposite directions. It’s not super easy to turn but it gets the job done and it’s likely you won’t be touching it much. I’m not sure why there is a height range listed for the chair. I’m slightly outside of the height range at 6’0” but it seems to be fine for me with the available adjustments. I’m also using it with a motorized adjustable standing desk, so it seems like between that and the adjustments on the chair I can tweak things to be just right. Good item, minus one star for vague instructions.
