Keeps my hands from burning on hot castiron!

I bought this to use specifically with castiron pans and my waffle iron. They work GREAT! The hand does get a little warm, but this provides plenty of protection for dealing with really hot items.

Excellent Gloves Set But ...

This oven mitt and potholder are excellent and we're sure glad we bought these. The material makes it flexible enough for holding different-sized hot pans with better heat protection than regular potholders and oven mitts. However, you still need to be careful as the protection is not absolute. There are points on the oven mitt, specifically, that are not covered by the silicone grip and this is where the extreme heat can get you.

A useable oven mitt

So many oven mitts are stiff and hard to use. This one is not. It is not too bulky that you can not grab a hot dish without fear of dropping. This really protects against heat even when you hold a hot item for a prolonged time. I bought 2 and am glad that I did but this works for either hand. I finally threw out all of my other oven mitts.

Look Good and work Great

They look good....but they work great. The pointer finger sleeve provide better control of heavier hot items coming off either rack in then over...better control, less chance of spills and burns. An A+ in my book.
